Wat Suthat Thepwararam, Bangkok It is a first-class royal temple, Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan type, during the reign of King Ananda Mahidol, Rama VIII. It is an art style of the early Rattanakosin period, with some parts having a touch of the art of the Ayutthaya period as well. It consists of the Vihara, the Ubosot, the Vihara Kot, and the Palace of the Supreme Patriarch, which used to be the residence of Somdej Phra Ariyawongsakattaya (Pae Tissadevo), the 12th Supreme Patriarch of Rattanakosin. The Ubosot of Wat Suthat Thepwararam is considered the longest Ubosot in Thailand. It was built during the reign of King Rama III, with a width of 22.60 meters and a length of 72.25 meters. It is the place where Phra Phuttha Trilok Chet, the Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, is enshrined, which is the principal Buddha image in the Ubosot.
