Wat Saket Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan (Wat Phu Khao Thong)

"Wat Saket" The Phu Khao Thong pagoda was initially built during the reign of King Nangklao, imitating Phu Khao Thong from the Ayutthaya period and completed during the reign of King Chulalongkorn. It was given the name "Suwannabanphot". On top is the principal Buddha image enshrined at the entrance to the pagoda, which contains the relics of the Lord Buddha, named Phra Phutthanimitwichitmaramoli Si Sanphet Borommatrailokanat (in the emperor's costume). During festivals such as Loi Krathong, there is a 7-day, 7-night pilgrimage to the Lord Buddha's relics here. This is considered a very famous temple event in Bangkok. Importantly, the temple opens for the public and tourists to go up and pay homage to the Lord Buddha's relics at night.
