From May 1, 2025, all foreigners entering Thailand must pre-register for a Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before entering the country. You can also apply at the airport upon arrival, but it can take a long time if it's crowded, so don't forget to pre-register! You can transfer to the MRT (subway) at Makkasan Station or the BTS (monorail) at Phaya Thai Station on the Airport Link. Depending on the location, you can get to the hotel in about an hour in major areas. ✅ Taxi If you have a lot of luggage or multiple people, I recommend using it. However, it is easily affected by traffic jams (Bangkok's traffic jams are said to be some of the worst in the world), and you also have to communicate with the driver, so it's not very recommended. There are still some rip-offs, so be sure to check if the meter is being used when you get on. Many drivers only speak Thai, and there seem to be some issues with drivers not understanding the location of the hotel or other pick-up destination. For taxis, I recommend the ride-hailing app Grab.
