The Elephant Duel Pagoda, also known as the Phra Chedi of King Ramkhamhaeng or the Pum Khao Bin Pagoda, is a historical site that few people are aware of. This ancient pagoda dates back to the Sukhothai era and is located opposite Wat Mahathat in Ban Tak. The site is highly sacred and retains its original atmosphere without any modern renovations. It is a historical landmark where King Ramkhamhaeng once triumphed in an elephant duel against the Burmese. I have visited this place before and recently had the chance to return. When paying respects, it is recommended to offer firecrackers as part of the ritual, as wishes made here are said to come true.
