Go to Guan Xi Waterfall, the "Little Jiuzhaigou" of Laos, and experience cliff jumping in the jungle

🌈Highlights: Guan Xi Waterfall is a multi-tiered waterfall hidden in the dense tropical rainforest, consisting of a large waterfall and several smaller waterfalls at the foot of the mountain. The water is turquoise and clear, but the scenery is not as layered as Jiuzhaigou, and it is indeed a bit of a stretch to call it "Little Jiuzhaigou." However, the waterfall is a popular spot for swimming and cliff jumping, making it a fun and exciting place to visit. In particular, there is a pool where tourists from all over the world jump and take photos, swim and play, making it a lively place. There is also a wildlife bear sanctuary inside the scenic area, but we arrived too late and only saw the facilities, not the bears. 🚗Transportation: Guan Xi Waterfall is about 30 kilometers away from the city center. There are three ways to get there. 1) Ride a motorcycle there. This is the most flexible option, and there are some niche attractions and cafes along the way where you can stop and play. The mountain road is complex, so be sure to pay attention to safety and drive slowly. 2) Half-day tour group, relatively cheap, usually 10+ people per group, 4-hour itinerary, 2-hour stay at Guan Xi Waterfall, itinerary is very rushed. 3) Charter a car, choose a double-decker bus, expensive. Round trip is about 160, cost-effective for large groups, and time is controllable. 🎫Ticket information: Guan Xi Waterfall ticket is 25,000 kip (10 yuan). ✨Tips: If you want to play in the water, you can bring a swimsuit, diving socks, and a large towel. There are many food stalls at the entrance of the scenic area, but they don't look very clean. The approximate time to visit is about 4 hours. It is recommended to go in the afternoon, when the temperature is higher and it is more comfortable to play in the water.
