The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore 🇺🇸

#myhiddengems My day at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore was such a fun and memorable experience! 🦒 Located in Druid Hill Park, the zoo is one of the oldest in the country, and it has a great mix of classic charm and modern exhibits. The entrance fee was around $25 for adults, and I felt it was worth every penny. The zoo is well-maintained and beautifully landscaped, making it a pleasant place to explore. I started my visit with the African Journey, where I saw majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, and even rhinos. The way the habitats are designed makes you feel like you're right there on safari! 🐘 The Penguin Coast exhibit was another highlight—it's home to a large colony of African penguins, and you can get so close to them while they swim and play. Watching their cute little waddles was a delight! 🐧 The zoo also has a great Maryland Wilderness section with river otters, bobcats, and playful farm animals that kids will love. There are plenty of picnic areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings, and a few food stands offering snacks and drinks. After spending a few hours at the zoo, I took a walk around Druid Hill Park, which has lovely paths and a beautiful lake.
