A Tranquil Garden Café in Jungut Batu

#cityplaybook Along the main road in Jungut Batu, there are a bunch of high end well-decorated French cafes. But what caught my attention is Kayu Lembongan, which is more laid-back and lowkey. It offers a serene escape from the island's busier spots. The café is set within a lush garden, creating a peaceful atmosphere that's both inviting and relaxing. What further sold it to me was that they defaulted coconut milk as one of the milk choices for their espresso based drinks (without charge)! Which is an absolutely unique and tropical thing to do. That said, it might not be the best choice, because it would taste slightly salty and souring when served hot. I still enjoyed it though for the rare uniqueness. The rest of menu features a variety of dishes, including healthy options like smoothie bowls and salads, as well as heartier fare such as burgers and Turkish eggs. And the WiFi is reliable. No surprise the café is popular among digital nomads.
