A Private Paradise in Bali

Located in the tranquil Sayan region, Samaya Ubud Villas is about a 1-hour, 30-minute drive from Bali Denpasar Airport. The hotel is ideally situated, surrounded by other villas yet maintaining excellent privacy and tranquility. From the moment we stepped into Samaya Ubud, we were greeted with warm hospitality. The check-in process was quick and efficient. The villas blend modern and traditional Balinese styles, creating a simple yet luxurious atmosphere. The hotel offers a full range of amenities, including a comfortable spa, fitness center, infinity pool, and a stunning lounge area. We opted for a hillside pool villa, complete with a private pool and garden, offering ultimate seclusion and privacy. The hotel's shuttle service made trips to Ubud's town center easy and convenient. The villa's interior was spacious, featuring a comfortable king-size bed, soft linens, and high-quality furnishings. The room was well-equipped, and the separate outdoor shower and private pool added to our comfort. From our balcony, we enjoyed lush green views, and at night, we fell asleep to the soothing sounds of nature. Dining at the highly-rated Swept Away restaurant was a true delight. Situated by the river, the restaurant's ambiance was enhanced by candlelight in the evening. The crispy duck and chocolate lava cake were our favorites. To commemorate our special occasion, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a candlelit dinner in our villa, a gesture of warmth and romance that we'll cherish forever. The hotel's location also provided easy access to various attractions in Ubud. We took advantage of the hotel's bicycle and guide services to explore the Ubud Art Market, Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, and Ubud Palace. Several nearby restaurants are also worth checking out, including the cheese platters at Brie Restaurant & Cheesery, the local cuisine at Prima Warung, and the healthy meals at Mana Kitchen. While our stay at Samaya Ubud was overwhelmingly positive, there were a few minor drawbacks. Some of the older facilities could use updating, particularly the drainage system in the shower, and the Wi-Fi was occasionally unreliable. However, these minor issues didn't detract from our overall perfect experience. In summary, every day at Samaya Ubud was filled with enjoyment and relaxation, making it an ideal destination for couples or families seeking a private and romantic getaway.
