#cheaptravel Kek Lok Si Temple in Penang was one of my favorite cheap travel spots during this trip. The pathway leading up to the temple was beautiful and shaded, making the uphill walk feel relaxing. There’s no pressure to rush, and you can take your time to explore at your own pace. I loved the intricate details on the pagodas and the peaceful atmosphere. Even though it’s a popular tourist site, it didn’t feel overly crowded. Best part? It was totally free! If you’re doing Penang on a small budget, don’t miss this gem.
