📍 Location: Mount Victoria Lookout Located in the charming town of Devonport on Auckland's North Shore, this small hill offers breathtaking views. From the summit, you can take in the Auckland city skyline, the harbor, and even the distant volcanic island. 🚶♂️ How to Get There: Take a ferry from Auckland's city center to Devonport, which takes about 12 minutes. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to the top of the hill. The path is easy to navigate, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll. 🌤 Personal Experience: This is my favorite hidden spot to unwind in Auckland. Climbing up the hill feels like leaving the city's hustle and bustle behind. At the top, you're greeted with expansive views of the harbor and skyline, and on clear days, you can even see Rangitoto Island in the distance. During sunset, the sky turns a golden orange, and the shimmering light on the water creates a particularly romantic atmosphere. I especially love sitting on the small bench near the lookout, feeling the gentle breeze and letting time slow down. It's a perfect escape from the urban chaos and an ideal spot for capturing stunning photos of the harmony between city and nature.
