Inside the aquarium, there are many display zones and more than 80 species of aquatic animals, such as penguins (king and gentoo), many types of sharks, sea turtles, rays, jellyfish, seahorses, and Nemo (clownfish). It’s so cute! 📍Another highlight is the ~110m long curved glass underwater tunnel with a sliding walkway, making you feel like you’re diving alone under the sea. 🐧 Most impressive: The penguin zone. The Antarctic Ice Adventure zone of the southern continent has a rocking ice tunnel for you to walk through. It’s as cold as being at the North Pole. 🥶 Walking through, you’ll meet cute penguins, both swimming and standing together on the ice rink. If you want to get up close and personal with the penguins, you can buy an additional special ticket. 💸 Admission fee: Adults, if purchased online, are around 28-30 NZD (we bought it online). You can choose your visit time. It takes no more than 3 hours to visit. 🚍 Travel: It's quite convenient. There are buses from the city that pass the aquarium. 📸 There are 2 photo spots here.
