The Propylaea (entrance), the Erechtheion, and the Caryatids each possessed their own unique beauty, and the sunlight filtering through the temples created a strange sense of connection between ancient and modern times. Standing atop the hill, overlooking the city of Athens, I could see the ancient and modern at a glance, and the city itself felt like a vast history book. The Acropolis was not just a historical site; it was a special place where I could experience firsthand the great legacy of human civilization.
