The Acropolis is undoubtedly a must-visit landmark in Athens. Climbing the steps while feeling the breath of ancient Greek civilization, the Parthenon and its surrounding columns unfolded before my eyes, making me feel as if I were traveling through time. Visiting early in the morning when the sunlight streamed through the columns and the atmosphere was relatively tranquil, the intricate carvings and grandeur of the ancient structures stood out even more. Walking along the path from the Propylaea to the temple, I could physically sense the history accumulated over thousands of years, and there were countless perfect scenes to capture in photos. The Acropolis is not just a historical site but a space where the ancient and modern intersect, making it a highly recommended stop on any Athens itinerary.
