Season: The peak tourist season in Greece is summer, especially from June to August, but spring and autumn are also suitable for travel. Recommended cities: 1. Athens As the capital and largest city of Greece, Athens is worth at least a day or two of exploration. Visitors can visit popular attractions such as the Acropolis and the Parthenon, but more modern neighborhoods such as Exarchia, known for its bohemian style, are also worth a visit. 2. Milos Greece has hundreds of islands to choose from, but one that is gaining attention is the quaint island of Milos. A direct flight from Athens will take you to this island, which is a great place to rest and relax. Explore the desolate beaches between the rugged cliffs, eat octopus in the island's many cafes, and enjoy a quiet evening sipping local wine and watching the sun dip into the blue waters. 3. Mykonos Looking for a more lively atmosphere? Head to Mykonos, an island that is always full of fun. Here, visitors can still explore the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, as well as several ancient theaters and stadiums that have been preserved for thousands of years. 5. Halkidiki Admire the blue waters of the Halkidiki region in northern Greece. The area is known for its beautiful beaches, and the sand on the beaches is equally charming and soft, so you can hang out all day. 6. Epidaurus For more historical sites, visit Epidaurus, located at the northeastern tip of the Peloponnese Peninsula. It is loved by archeology enthusiasts for its ancient theater, which was built in the 4th century BC in honor of Asclepius, the god of medicine. In the summer, it is still a place where visitors can watch live performances.
