It retains the charm of the gold rush era, with the buildings along the old streets brimming with nostalgia, and each shop is like a scene from a story. Strolling through it feels like stepping back into the 19th century gold rush era. In autumn, the town is bathed in golden and crimson foliage, a breathtaking scene reminiscent of a painting. Besides exploring the old streets, you can also visit the remains of the former Chinese gold rush village. The simple huts offer a glimpse into the hardships of life back then. For me, Arrowtown's most captivating aspect is its quiet, slow pace, yet a warm, human touch. Sitting outside a cafe, watching the sun shine on the cobblestone streets, is one of the simplest yet most beautiful moments of travel.
