Antica Osteria l’Agania in Arezzo, Italy

The term 'Osteria' in the name refers to a type of tavern where you can enjoy both food and drinks, similar to an izakaya in Japan. This particular Osteria has a charming old-fashioned atmosphere with wine and fiasco bottles adorning the walls! The Italian appetizers are absolutely delicious! I could eat liver pâté and prosciutto every meal. The simple pasta generously topped with truffles was also excellent. In Italy, both lunch and dinner start later than in Japan, but the opening hours here are convenient for Japanese visitors: from 12:00 and from 19:00. It's a popular place that doesn't take reservations, so it's best to arrive right when they open.
