After a long ride to the 12 Apostles along the Golden Bay, the return trip , I stopped by at the Apollo Bay for lunch since I need another 4-5 hours drive back to Melbourne City. I went and check out a few restaurants and cafes and decide to hopped into Apollo Bay Seafood as I was attracted by the seafood chowder and lobster burger which both I like. Prices are reasonable at $21 and $28 respectively and a lot cheaper than the one served at Apollo Bay Hotel. The burger is amazingly good with coleslaw and loaded with lobster meats and soup was hot and creamy loaded with lot of seafood. I would love to try their fish and chip as I can choose the better fish of my choice. Lobster burger $28 and soup at $22. Next stop, to pop into Dooley’s Premium ice cream which won a lot of awards. I chose the award winner- chocolate gelato and another scoop of cream cheese as both are my favourite. You can have it in cone or paper cup. 1 scoop for $7.50 and double at $10.50. Strong recommendation to drop by Apollo Bay for a well deserved break before you continue your journey to 12 Apostles or back to Melbourne City which direction you are heading to.
