10 Days in Manila

Visiting Antipolo was a refreshing escape from the busy city life. Known for its breathtaking views, cool breeze, and cultural gems, this city offers a perfect mix of nature, spirituality, and gastronomy. One of the highlights of my trip was the visit to Pinto Art Museum—a paradise for art lovers. The museum’s open-air galleries, contemporary exhibits, and lush gardens made the experience truly inspiring. It’s a must-visit for anyone who appreciates creativity and tranquility. Of course, no trip to Antipolo is complete without a stop at Hinulugang Taktak. While it’s no longer the pristine waterfall it once was, it still holds historical charm and has been revitalized for visitors to enjoy. The food scene was another standout! I indulged in Sumulong Highway’s overlooking cafés, where I enjoyed a warm cup of coffee while admiring the city lights of Metro Manila from afar. Vieux Chalet and Crescent Moon Café offered fantastic meals with a cozy, intimate vibe. And of course, I couldn’t leave without bringing home Antipolo’s famous suman, kasuy (cashew nuts), and mangoes—a delicious reminder of my trip. Antipolo’s mix of nature, culture, and great food makes it a perfect getaway for those seeking relaxation and inspiration.
