There are areas for chilling out, having a picnic, cycling around the lake, or taking a boat to enjoy the view. The surrounding views are mountains and green fields. We just came back last week. Annecy is located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in southeastern France, near the Swiss border — about 40 kilometers from Geneva.
