In Anji! Digging bamboo shoots, hiking, and tea picking all in one place.

Finally, it's March, the perfect time to take the kids to the mountains. I found a great place for hiking and digging bamboo shoots 😎 Anji, with its moderate distance and excellent environment, is a perfect vacation spot. Last weekend, we went to a farm hotel, which is perfect for kids❗️ It has everything I wanted 🥰 🏨 Red Hawthorn Farm Resort Hotel Huzhou·Anji 🚗 1 hour drive from Hangzhou 🚄 About half an hour taxi ride from Anji Station 🛏️ The hotel offers various room types. We stayed in the Forest Wing, which is super spacious with new facilities, a bathtub, and a projector. It also has a large terrace with a private hot spring pool. Soaking in the private hot spring and stargazing on the terrace at night was so comfortable. There's a room with a slide and playground next door, which our kid envied. We'll book it earlier next time! 🌱 Staying in a dream farm resort with kids, the natural environment here is beyond words. There are hiking trails behind the mountain, passing through bamboo forests all the way up, with an open view of endless tea mountains, blooming red plums, and yellow-flowered camphor trees, which are incredibly healing at a glance. (The third picture is the tea mountain in the hotel, it's really beautiful!) ⚠️ Highlight: The activities in the farm are so rich! Two days and one night are fully packed, making it easy to entertain the kids. Both adults and children had a great time without leaving the hotel. 🥬 Vegetable picking: Experience picking vegetables and feeding cows. 🐮 Feeding cows: There are three cows in the barn, and the kids enjoyed feeding them. 🪵 Chopping wood: The woodhouse is clean and tidy, and you can experience chopping wood and making a fire. 🎋 Digging bamboo shoots: Don't miss it in spring! Digging bamboo shoots in the bamboo forest is so much fun! 🚣‍♀️ Bamboo rafting: The kid's first time, happily weaving through the geese. 🌿 Leaf printing: Pick fresh leaves and make plant-printed cloth bags. 🍵 Tea picking: Spring in March! The tea garden's spring scenery is absolutely beautiful! 🎤 Karaoke: Sing karaoke on the lawn from morning till night. ⛺️ Outdoors: Run freely on the large lawn, with tents, swings, and sandpits. 🔥 Bonfire: After the bonfire party, you can roast sweet potatoes with the remaining heat! Different seasons offer different activities, and there are many we haven't experienced yet, such as: 🈶️ Outdoor swimming pool, great for hot weather. 🈶️ Fish catching activity, which seems very interesting. 🈶️ Outdoor stove, where you can chop wood and cook. 🍲 The food at the farm is also delicious! Light and homely, with fresh ingredients, we loved it. The vegetables go from picking to the table in less than half an hour, and you can catch bamboo forest chickens! We happened to see chicken catching, which was eye-opening! Next time, we plan to have a chicken hot pot for dinner and chicken soup noodles for breakfast, it's amazing. The staff here are happy and enthusiastic. Master Zhang rowed the boat and roasted sweet potatoes for us; the lady drove the electric car to take us to the tea mountain and find bamboo shoots.
