💚香合林 Xiang He Lin is a Buddhist vegan noodle and jiaozi restaurant nestled in Beijing's Gulou district. 💎This really is a gem of a place. It has a small neighbourhood vibe, where you really feel cared for as soon as you walk in. The diners greeted me kindly while noshing down on their jiaozi🥟 (dumplings) and free corn congee🌽. The boss was also eager to make me feel at home with his calm, soothing demeanor (which if you've been in Beijing any amount of time, you know is a rare find!😅), helping me choose a noodle to my taste. 👵🏼👴🏼I found out that they serve free meals to seniors over 68 daily, and if you happen to pop in on a holiday, food is free for everyone!
