A solo traveler's guide to Amritsar

The cost starts at 100 yuan, and the environment is quite nice. Attractions guide, the main attractions in Amritsar are the Golden Temple and the flag-lowering ceremony at Wagah, in the neighboring city. The Golden Temple is the landmark of Amritsar, and it can be said that the city was built around this temple. Head coverings are required to enter the Golden Temple, which is open for free, and free meals are provided all day, allowing visitors to experience it with the locals. Additionally, the commercial street in the Golden Temple square has a Middle Eastern flair, reminiscent of ancient Persian style, with many ethnic costumes and delicacies. Wagah is an hour's drive from Amritsar, and you need to carpool from the Golden Temple square, which costs 10 yuan for a round trip. I carpooled with locals. The flag-lowering ceremony at the India-Pakistan border is a carnival, with people from both countries dancing together. Then they lower the flags together, with a strong sense of ceremony. The event is free of charge.
