The Plaza Mayor is the heart of the town.

Despite the restoration, it still maintains its regular "U"-shaped plan and encloses almost half of the square. The ground floor has solid semicircular arcades, except for the central section which has a lintel. The upper floor has a balcony that extends along the entire facade and is equipped with wrought iron railings that highlight the city coat of arms in the center.
