[A natural Ghibli world created by nature]

📍Iokido, Kochi Prefecture Iokido is located on the road just outside the city center, heading east along National Route 55 in Aki City. Stepping out of the concrete road, you will see a view that makes you feel as if you have traveled back in time to tens of thousands of years ago. This cave is a natural sea cave formed by wave erosion when the surrounding area was the sea, and is about 5m high, 4m wide, and 40m long. At the back of the cave is a valley, and water that is usually enough to soak your feet flows out. You can also see shell fossils on the walls of the cave. *We recommend wearing easy-to-move-in sneakers or hiking boots when walking around (long boots are useful during long periods of rain or the day after heavy rain).
