Italy 🇮🇹Mount Etna This is the largest and highest active volcano in Europe, with an altitude of 3,326 meters. There is still a lot of snow on the mountain and the wind is very strong in March, so it is not suitable for climbing to the summit. However, near the activity center at the foot of the mountain, there are several craters where we can explore. The crater is like a meteorite crater. Standing inside the crater, you can see how small we are. To be honest, I admire the resilience of the local people. This volcano has erupted three times until 2023. Along the way up the mountain, we still saw many residents and shop owners who were not afraid of the threats posed by the volcano. The craters resemble meteorite pits, and standing inside them, one can truly feel how small we are. I truly admire the resilience of the local people; despite the volcano erupting three times until 2023, there were still many residents and businesses along the way up the mountain, showing no fear of the volcano's threats.
