2025 Primorsky Krai Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in April)

#aprilblooms These are photos of my home region: Primorsky Krai. I’ve lived here all my life in small city called Vladivostok. This place located about four hours drive from Vladivostok. The first photo I took when I was on the cape of four rocks. You can easily guess why it get its name)) 4th photo is Balyuzek lighthouse. It’s located in Olginskij region. The name was given in honor of statesman of 19th century. In fact most of the names of the capes or bays or other places somehow connected to people who were here in 19th century. I’ll post more photos of my home town and the places near it. I want to show the beauty of this a little harsh (by the nature standards not by the hearts of people) place I call home. Advice: come here in May or September to experience the beauty of colors of the nature in the warm environment or in July, August or September to swim in the warm water of Sea of Japan (little fact: these sea has about four of five names depending on what ground you stand but I’ll will translate it literally and called it like we called it at home)

Although it was just the end of the typhoon we were not planning to cancel our trip to this beautiful island in Primorye. Having reserved a boat to the island in advance we arrived to this paradise. Unfortunately the water was rather dirty in the first day because of the rains, but the good thing - we were the only tourists there coming at this time. Plus after the typhoon we could easily collect the scallop and cook it on the fire. It was delicious! #celebrateit

When first time we went to this beach I was so admired to see it. I thought we are coming to a common pebbles beach but this beach is something different. The pebbles are of blue color and this huge rocks in the middle of nowhere together with the transparent sea water made me really love this place. Another advantage is lack of people there. #celebrateit Krabbe peninsula is a place of extinct volcanoes that were active around 50 million years ago. Volcanic activity resulted in numerous sea and shore rocks, mountains and different caves. Agatovaya bay is full of beautiful stones. A wonderful thing about this peninsula is lack of tourists because it’s not easy to reach plus there are only few places to rent rooms or houses there.

#celebrateit Primorsky Krai is full of beautiful natural places but unfortunately some of them are wild and not easy to be reached. One of them is Yezhovaya bay. You cannot find any hotels or guesthouses here, the only way to stay overnight is in the tent that you can bring by yourself. And that is the beauty about this area: you can live in a wild area with a blue water and enormous stones around.

#celebrateit This bay is a hidden gem in Primorsky Krai. Amazing scenery with beautiful mountains. Unfortunately it is not easy reachable by transportation because part of the way is very difficult road, so if you want to get there, take a 4wd car or you can buy a tour from the travel agency. Half of the way might be on foot depending on the road conditions. Place: Bukhta Bol'shaya Yezhovaya, Vrangel'
