#AccommodationTravelRecord I stayed at "OMO7 Kochi by Hoshino Resorts" which opened in June 2024, so I'd like to introduce it to you right away♪ It is located about a 10-minute walk from the express bus stop "Harimayabashi Station". The road is wide, so it should be easy to walk even if you have a large suitcase. When you enter the hotel, the front desk is on the left, and after checking in, you can pick up only the necessities such as toothbrushes and loungewear at the amenity corner right next to it and go up to your room. This time, we were staying with three people, so we chose a large room called "Utage Suite Omotabi." It was a nice, clean space, and above all, the view from the room was amazing! There are not many tall buildings around the hotel, so I think the view is good from every room. And at this hotel, a Yosakoi live performance in which guests can participate is held every night! Katsurahama, one of Kochi Prefecture's scenic spots, is also home to Cape Ryuo, the statue of Ryoma Sakamoto, Katsurahama Aquarium, a wide sandy beach, and a walking path. "Yabe" is a food stall that has been converted from a garage and is an essential restaurant for Kochi gourmet 🙋‍♂️ The menu here includes gyoza, oden, ramen, and alcohol! The locals said that during the Yosakoi night festival, it was probably the time when the most knowledgeable people were in the world. After all, there were few people in the usual alleys, and from the 9th, it was the Bon Festival, and all the Kochi people in the field went home to worship the ancestors. The dance teams of other cities also arrived at Kochi and the city suddenly became lively. 📍Tosa Shrine Tosa Shrine is the Ichinomiya Shrine of Shikoku, located in Ichinomiya, Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture, and has long been known as the best place of prayer in Tosa. It is an ancient shrine said to have been founded in the 10th century, with a vast grounds, a long approach leading from the tower gate beside the national highway, and cedars and cypresses hundreds of years old growing thickly at the back of the front. 📍Harimaya Bridge It is said that the name "Harimaya Bridge" comes from the fact that "Harimaya" and "Hitoya", who were doing business on either side of the Horikawa River, built a private bridge for the two businesses to travel between them during the Edo period.
