My kind of #weekendgetaways today! I visited this cozy cafe name Hakuna Matata. It was on the top list of cafe that being recommended by Google when I searched "Cafe in Cijantung" today. No wonder there were so many people here on weekend. The ambience is nice. Some people also came with kids. Not a type of cafe that you can find people with laptop working here. It is more suitable for hanging out with friends/family and having chit-chat here. The foods were great! They have various type of spaghetti which I really like. 📍 Hakuna Matata Jl. Pertengahan no 5, Cijantung, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. Best way to get here is with motorbike. Because their parking space is also available for motorbike only.

beautiful coffee shop on the border of Jakarta and Bekasi, Savvy Brew 💚 You know this from the brothers on the side of the road, right next to the gate of the housing complex. The decor is really that beautiful, European style. All the spots are beautiful for photos. There are indoor as well as outdoor. ✨️ The menu includes heavy meals, snacks and drinks. I just ordered coffee. This is the second delicious latte cookie in my opinion. The taste of the biscoff blends with the coffee, the sweetness is just right, the coffee still tastes strong, and the portion is also big. Jd really worth it! #Beauty at Spa Let'S relax SPA @ BEST WESTERN PREMIER THE HAVE JAKARTA Spa in a 5-star hotel in the eastern basket area. The hotel's spa is on the 3rd floor next to the fitness center. The essential oils here are pure natural. When you finish the oil massage, you don't need to wash it off. The hotel staff provides very good information before receiving the service. Every room is a private room with a bathtub with an Aminity kit. I recommend that it smells like coffee, fragrant on the skin. Drinking light coffee has a good aroma. The therapists are very good at squeezing the lines. Relaxing to the point of falling asleep. I will not call this as Hidden Gem, since everyone mentions hidden gem a lot. but this is a nice place when you are bored with starbucks. Neos Corner (that's right, no apostrophe in Neos), is a simple coffee and eatery in Cilangkap area, East Jakarta. the place is very chic and comfortable. those who love taking pics must fall in love with this place. Located away from the hustle and bustle of the Metropolitan city, they provide great coffees, from simple Americano to V60. coffee was great, basically local beans roasted in various ways. Food, dont worry.. they provide simple finger foods, pastries, snacks to a variety of main course, including Fried Rice and Pasta. Those who love cilok, cireng or any other traditional indonesian snack, must try them here. Spacious venue, indoor is comfortable, huge outdoor space on the second floor, and comfy seating area near the parking space. parking area is very big also, no worry if you need to cater for function here. Quite an interesting experience outside of a homey place. Favorite menu? Andaliman Fried Rice, Captain, Flat White. Try again. Filling the afternoon coffee here with a fairly diverse selection of coffee concoctions and reasonable prices may be an option, but it's a bit long while waiting for the coffee friend's snack order, until the coffee runs out the snacks don't show up too, hopefully in the future it can be improved more good again. While playing in Jakarta yesterday, I went to this cafe to meet up with friends & work. The price is affordable and in accordance with the taste, the ambiance is good for hanging out or assignments. Cafe Industrial on the outskirts of Jakarta. From the outside, it's just normal, on the edge of a small residential road again. There is parking although it is limited. But as soon as you enter, the atmosphere of the cafe is calm but 'busy'. A playground and baby chair are provided which makes this cafe quite kid friendly. Downstairs there is an option for outdoor with iconic orange doors and tropical-style bamboo roofs. Upstairs there is a more intimate thematic sitting room with min. 3 people and minimum payment. PULANG KERUMAH COFFE Jl. Kramat III No. 33, Crocodile Hole, Cipayung, East Jakarta Our discovery started when we were just looking for a fun spot to find in Lubang Buaya. A spot appeared that caught our interest, the name was @pulangkerumah.coffee and when I first went there, it really felt quite worth it. It feels true that there is a complete definition of a house with a backyard with trees and plants, rustic table benches that have been recycled. The inside is also presented with decorations with old Javanese nuances, there is also a roasting machine, several choices of single origins beans, and friendly residents who can become new acquaintances. While lightly enjoying the atmosphere on the outside, you can try their mainstay menu, Es Kopi Susu Going Home, manual brewing V60, or special tea if you really want more namaste. Love the charm of this hotel. Does not give you the routine chain hotel vibe at all. While I did not get there in time to eat at restaurant, have heard amazing reviews on the restaurant. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Jakarta. This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in Jakarta. The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the Teraskita Hotel offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out. The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. A great place with local Indonesian coffee. I visited Toko Buki Kenari on 3rd floor and found this little coffee corner names The Bencoolen, it’s in East Jakarta area. I tried one of their menu called “Ice Kopasus Keren”, it tastes very good! A very nice hotel to stay not far from Halim Perdanakusuma airport in Jakarta. I love that this hotel has a very big and long swimming pool and also they offer great variety of food for breakfast! The room itself is very spacious and it has sofas facing the TV. 📍Martabak Favourite, Rawamangun My favorite Indonesian dessert for all time sake, Martabak! But this shop is a 100/100. This place is located right next to my house. I ordered half chocolate martabak and half cheese with butter. When i came, there weren’t so many people so i just needed to wait for like 15 mins. I asked for dine in while it was still hot. Holly Molly! Yeah seriously this place deserves a medal for the best martabak in town. They gave hella cheese and chocolate. The price wasn’t expensive at all with a great taste like this. 📍Kedai Locale, Rawamangun, Jakarta Timur Kedai in indonesian means shop. So this shop sells ‘local’ food. These pictures down there were my first time coming to this place. It’s so close from my house. I ordered caramelized fried tapai (fermented rice) (last picture) oooooh, this was so delicious! Rawon rice (5&6 pict)—rawon rice is a traditional food from east Java (if im not mistaken). Usually you use beef, boiled egg, bean sprouts, indonesian chili and put them inside a black soup. I basically like this food a lot too and this place made it really nice. the beef was so tender. Fried potatoes, this not the same as ‘french fries’. they cut the potatoes thin. it’s not that crunchy also not that soft. just perfect Iced coffee durian, sounds weird but actually this was a brilliant idea! i personally don’t like durian but i gave it a try a little bit, and it’s acceptable. 📍Hegemony Coffee, Rawamangun, East Jakarta (now called HOI Coffee) When i came here, this place legit just opened for several days. This place isn’t that big and so cozy. I loved the ambience here. My friend loved black coffee and he said the black coffee here was super good and would definitely come back. I recommend their food: chicken tacos and their mac ‘n cheese. The tacos were good to be honest. i mean at that time i hadn’t had a real tacos so i could say those tacos were good. I loveeee their service. The owner was so nice. 📍Quiznos Sub, Rawamangun, East Jakarta Quiznos Sub is a sandwich restaurant. they got so many choices of sandwich. you basically need to choose what kind of bread you want, what kind of toppings, and sauce.
