Climbing Guishan Park provided panoramic views of the ancient town. The Big Buddha Temple, with its serene sounds and golden rooftop shining in the sun, was a peaceful retreat. Spinning the Prayer Wheel with others for blessings added to the experience. Moving slowly, avoiding strenuous activities, and resting when tired were essential to prevent altitude sickness. 2-4/11/24 The ancient city of Shangri-La has a unique area. There's something charming and fascinating about this city.

Shangri-La Old Town is a beautiful place that I really enjoyed. The shops have unique designs and offer many different things to buy. There are also lots of food choices, which makes it great for dinner time. The best part was joining the local people in their traditional dancing—it was so much fun! There's also a temple on top of a hill. Climbing up can make you tired very quickly because of the high altitude, but when you reach the top, the view is worth it. The cool breeze and beautiful night lighting create a magical atmosphere. The sound of Tibetan Buddhist chanting fills the air, making the place hard to forget and leaving a deep impression on your heart. This was one of the best memories I had in Shangri-La.
