It is governed by five counties including Oxford, and its boundary is roughly from Stratford-upon-Avon to the south, extending to Radstock near Bath. Most of the buildings here are built with Cotswold stone, which presents a unique honey color, making the architectural style of the entire region unique. Many buildings have a long history, dating back to the 16th century or even earlier. There are quaint country houses, elegant manors, spectacular castles and historic churches. In addition, the Cotswolds also has vast fields, dense forests, clear streams and beautiful gardens. The Cotswolds include: Bourton-on-the-Water, Bibury, Castle Combe, Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, etc. Although they are not far apart, due to the limited time this time, only the first two places were visited. 👦🏻👧🏻The UK trip has reached the last day☹️ Before we flew to the Netherlands we decided to go to the countryside today 🤣 Because we all don't know how to drive so we joined a day trip🤪 We booked this tour from Klook😌 It is divided into English and Chinese☺️ We chose English this time👍🏻 First this tour will take an hour drive out to the outskirts of London😚 to Bourton on the water😊 😫 But it turns out that the tour bus needs to share with the Chinese group 😣 So on the bus there is a chance to sit separately 🤥 and the car is very stuffy 😵 there are several people traveling with them 🤮 👧🏻 can sit until I feel comfortable Fortunately, getting off the car and breathing fresh air was fine 😀 We are buying a more expensive package this time 🤔 about 300 dollars more expensive is including visit tickets and simple lunch But don't expect anything from the lunch 😥 just a simple sandwich and a drink ☹️ so I'd rather eat fried fish and chips at the attraction 😩 Another is that actually tickets are included to visit Shakespeare's house 😂 to tell the truth if you are not too interested in seeing this 😂 just want to go to see the antique 🤔 I think actually ordinary package can be Because in the end we were attracted by the scenery of the town and did not follow to see the former residence😂 So actually we wasted money🤑 So if interested friends can refer to our opinion # Pretending to be in Europe

Many of my trips this year so far have been continental and I've been keen to explore the beautiful country I live in some more so I was off to the Cotswolds this time - here's why you should visit: 🏘️ Quaint idyllic villages ⛰️ Rolling hills with breathtaking views 📷 Unblemished countryside 🤫 Peaceful surroundings with only the wildlife for company 🥾 Unbeaten walks and hidden trails Day 1 🌳 After a 3hr journey from home, I was straight off for a brief walk around the area near my accommodation to take in the views and get an understanding of the area. My accommodation in a wildlife park had a fantastically beautiful lake right beside with an array of ducks, geese, swans and coots passing by (Picture 1). After the walk, I think the dog was suitably tired out! (Picture 2). Day 2 ⛪ A chilled day for Day 2 largely, however I had been recommended to visit Bourton on the Water which is a delightful little village. A wide array of independent gift shops, cafés, pubs and ice cream shops adorn the River Windrush which has a shallow flow through the village (Picture 3) and features several small bridges (Picture 4). A buzzy and vibrant atmosphere and a perfect way to soak up the sun on a hot day. Day 3 🛁 My final day and this was spent chilling in the hot tub in the early hours of the morning, 5:30am for the sunrise. The hot tub is right alongside the lake offering breathtaking views in the summer (Picture 5). 🪿 A family of geese and their three goslings came to join in the fun, in the hopes of food I think! (Picture 6). 🚗 Time to head home now after the most relaxing and fun time in the Cotswolds for some rest and relaxation. The Cotswolds area offers an amazing adventure - whether you're looking for water sport thrills or wildlife chills, the area is sure to have something to offer you. It's possible to go on a day trip, but it's better to leave early in the morning. I also recommend bringing some sandwiches for a picnic!
