Madison boasts excellent public sports facilities, offering numerous outdoor hiking trails and bike paths. On this day, I chose to hike along the shores of Lake Wingra. Although Lake Wingra is not very large, its location in the city makes it highly convenient. The lakeside is dotted with anglers; in spring, as nature awakens, colorful birds sing and court in the woods or grass, creating a vibrant atmosphere. This lively scene naturally attracts bird enthusiasts equipped with long-focus lenses. Following the trail to Edgewood College, continue forward and turn left to reach the boat rental area at Wingra Park, where you can rent a boat to explore the lake. Afterward, retrace your steps back to the starting point.
