Stay one night in a cost-effective British ancient building - Coombe Abbey
More than ten years later, I visited the UK again and decided to stay in a hotel with an ancient building for a night. After searching different online booking websites, I found that most castle-style hotels are very expensive. But I found a 12th century monastery that had been converted into a hotel, and a family room for four was only over a thousand Hong Kong dollars, so I decided to give it a try.
Located in Coventry, near Birmingham, it is in the suburbs and self-driving is recommended. The surrounding environment is first-class, there is a large park, and there is also a rope adventure facility to play, but there are quite a lot of people playing, so remember to reserve time for reservation.
The room is very antique, and the decoration of the bathroom is a highlight. The restaurant is also very beautiful, but since seats are limited, remember to make a reservation in advance, otherwise it will most likely be full.
Overall, this is an old-style hotel with great value for money and you should try it if you have the chance.
