#skitrip What a gem of an independent garden centre with award winning cafe with tasty treats and friendly staff. A miniature railway around a landscaped area is a delight for kids. It also has a secret garden from an old quarry and a spooky overgrown maze and wildflower meadow along the Riverside which is abundant with wildlife. There are several plant nursery businesses on the large outdoor site. There is also a pleasant café with inside and outside space, unfortunately closed during the current lockdown. It is refreshing to find a proper nursery instead of the glorified retail premises that many garden centres have become.

We stayed at this hotel from August 30th to 31st while visiting nearby Coventry. Though we checked in a bit early, the reception team was wonderful and assured us it wasn't an issue. As Hilton Honors Diamond Members, this establishment truly surpassed our expectations. We received a very generous upgrade to the water suite. The suite was charming, facing the front with views of our parked car. The room was highly comfortable, featuring a massive bed, a cozy sofa, and a two-person double-ended bath. The breakfast buffet was abundant and beautifully arranged, offering both hot and cold dishes.

#postandearn I recently visited Coombe Abbey Country Park and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The walking routes were beautifully scenic and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The picturesque scenes are amazing! Everywhere is well maintained. The staff in the Info centre was helpful and I like the Discovery Centre as well, as it shows what to expect and it’s interactive. It also has a dog friendly cafe, a groomers and children's play area. The car park is very reasonable so you can enjoy a few hours here and not spend a fortune.

I stayed at the Ramada Hotel because I had a conference to attend at the University of Warwick. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the train station, which is very convenient. Even if you take a taxi, which is easy to hail, you can get there in the blink of an eye. When I checked in, the hotel was undergoing some renovations, but it was still comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful when I asked for directions and were very efficient during my check-in. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom was also roomy. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection. There are other food options outside the hotel, ranging from Indian to Lebanese cuisine. However, outside the hotel, the area is a bit run-down and in need of refurbishment. Everything was comfortable during my stay at the hotel, and I would definitely stay there again if I were in the area. We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel was comfortable, and the staff were polite. We didn't eat there because it was only a short walk to the city center, which was ideal for us. Since the hotel is close to the city center, the parking lot is located next to a multi-story car park by the hotel, and if you are staying at the hotel, you can use the 24-hour parking lot for a fee of 6.50 pounds. However, when you leave the hotel and check out, you only have 10 minutes to exit the parking lot, which is not ideal. I recommend staying at this hotel for sightseeing in the city center. Good location, very central, with a lovely restaurant across the street. Friendly staff. Good room price. Good facilities price. This is an average four-star hotel where we stayed for four nights. The room was nice and spacious. The facilities were not very complete, towels needed to be replaced, and the corridors needed new carpets. Breakfast was terrible! Staff need to smile more. Some individual staff members were still nice. Although the hotel building doesn't look very appealing from the outside, it is beautiful inside. The rooms are both spacious and beautiful. We came to this city for an awards ceremony elsewhere, and we returned to the hotel around midnight, when the bar was about to close. But the friendly bar staff kept it open for us until 3:30 in the morning. A decent hotel, but not to the extent that one would be eager to come back and stay. The front of the hotel and the walk to the main entrance are not the most attractive. It is a nice hotel with gorgeous food in the restaurant and beautiful decorations on the floor. In the centre of Coventry, 10 minutes away from the train station. The first time I ordered whole baked Camembert (£15). It might be a bit greasy if I eat it alone, but it is delicious and has a strong cheese flavor. I recommend sharing it with friends. The second time I ordered a cheese burger, which was £13 and very delicious. I highly recommend it. The salty and sweet meat paired with mustard cheese gave the burger a layered taste experience. I ordered a ginger mojito, £5 and it was delicious. Herbert art gallery and museum is situated at the city centre of Coventry. On the ground floor, there are exhibitions about the history of Coventry, story of Lady Godiva as well as war and peace. Make sure you visit this museum and exhibition if you are interested in the history of this beautiful town. When you go upstairs, you will see 5 gallery rooms. Currently, only the first two are opened to public and they are about the life of the British youth and some paintings like the countryside of Coventry back in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Swanswell park and pool is located near downtown Coventry, a few minutes walk from Pool Meadow Bus Station. The park is not very big, it took 10 minutes to walk to the end. In addition to the pond, there are many pigeons and geese walking along the way.
