When we arrived at Butterworth, we will walk to the ferry terminal to board the boat to Penang Island. Follow the signs and you will find the ferry terminal not far away. The fare is 1.20 ringgit per person, which is about 8 baht. The journey takes about 15 minutes. We are almost in Penang after traveling for almost 24 hours.
