The dish is topped with a fried egg and cucumber, offering a classic and authentic gan jjajang experience. It's rare to find jjajangmyeon places that include a fried egg these days, which made this meal even more delightful. I noticed someone at the next table enjoying noodles with a red sauce, which piqued my curiosity. It seems their red jjajang is also quite popular, and I’m eager to try it next time. The gan jjajang sauce is freshly stir-fried and generously poured over the noodles, ready to be mixed. However, after mixing the noodles and sauce, I found the texture a bit dry, which was slightly disappointing. Remembering a tip I’d seen somewhere, I added a bit of jjamppong broth to the jjajangmyeon, and it significantly improved the dish. Highly recommend trying this trick if you encounter the same issue!
