Les Petits Trains de Marseille offers a delightful journey through the charming streets and iconic landmarks of Marseille, France. My experience aboard one of these quaint trains was a memorable adventure filled with history, culture, and breathtaking views.
As I boarded the train, I was greeted by the cheerful conductor who welcomed me aboard with a smile. The train's colorful exterior and whimsical design immediately caught my eye, setting the tone for a fun and enjoyable ride ahead.
As the train set off, we embarked on a scenic tour of Marseille's most famous sights and attractions. We passed by historic landmarks such as the Old Port, where fishing boats bobbed in the sparkling waters, and the majestic Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde, which loomed high above the city atop its hill.
As we meandered through the narrow streets of the old town, I marveled at the charming architecture and bustling atmosphere. We passed by quaint cafes and bustling markets, where locals and tourists alike mingled and savored the sights and sounds of this vibrant city.
One of the highlights of the tour was our ascent to the summit of Notre-Dame de la Garde, where we were treated to breathtaking panoramic views of Marseille and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea beyond. The vista was truly awe-inspiring, and I felt a sense of wonder wash over me as I took in the beauty of the city from above.
As the tour came to an end, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to experience Marseille's beauty and charm aboard Les Petits Trains. It had been a journey filled with laughter, discovery, and moments of pure joy, and one that I would cherish for years to come.

The Marseille Soap Museum 🗺️
#2024wish
I had an enjoyable and curious time at The Marseille Soap Museum just a while ago! 🧼💫 With only €6, I entered the world of soap’s history and it was an olfactory treat. #SoapMuseum #MarseilleMagic
Hidden in the Panier neighborhood, atypical museum takes you on a tour of traditional soap-making. The nostalgic gear, fragrant dispalys and the live soap making showcase put you in middle of all things Marseille soaps. 🌿🛁
Do not forget the olive oil soap section - Marseille soap’s very soul. The true smells and the textures give a feeling of attachment to olden times. 🌿🫒
After the museum, stroll through Le Panier’s quaint streets. The hip and artsy neighborhood makes for an ideal after-soap discovery. The bohemian feeling of the neighborhood is enhanced by local cafes and boutiques. 🎨🍽️
Close by is the MuCEM, a modern architectural feat and one that provides contemporary contrast to traditional wear offered within this museum. 🏛️🌊
Soap lovers find heaven in the museum gift shop. It is an aromatic treasure, from artisanal soaps to olive oil based skincare products. The staff’s enthusiasm for soap-making humanizes the store. 🤗
The Marseille Soap Museum is a truly interesting place to visit regardless of whether you are interested in history, crafts or just smell. The low admission price, pleasant journey of aroma and close-by attractions make it a mandatory visit in Marseille! #SoapHistory #LePanierCharm

Enjoy a Michelin two-star lifestyle in the old town of Arles, South Africa
This is a two-star Michelin restaurant in advance: L'Atelier, Chef: Jean-Luc Rabanel, hidden in the Old Town Trail. This time we chose a 5-course lunch, 95 euros, and spent more than two hours, almost helping the wall to go out.
Chef Jean-Luc Rabanel advocates a living meal, perhaps because the energy and enthusiasm of the small town of Arles inspired the chef, which led him to open this farm restaurant. It is said that every vegetable on the table comes from the chef's own farm. The last carbon roast beef is the top card. Every vegetable that is served is carefully treated separately. I don't understand the specific beef, but it tastes good!
The rating and introduction of the Michelin restaurant can be searched on the official website and can be booked directly online. Remember, star-rated restaurants must make an appointment in advance!

Discovering Arles in ancient Rome, following the footsteps of Van Gogh and enjoying food in some of the best restaurants in Provence, this is an introduction to the highlights of Arles on Lonely Planet. Its a coincidence that we took the trip All three tasks have been completed.
Overview of the whole Arles from the air, there is a feeling of returning to Rome, the huge round Roman Colosseum is particularly prominent, the ancient medieval style architecture has a kind of stroll in Tuscany The feeling of the town. Take a stroll on such a retro and literary street, wherever you go, you can take photos.
There are many famous Roman ruins in the city of Arles, including the ancient Roman theater and the Colosseum. Arles is famous for its preserved Roman period architecture, and there is also a legendary historical figure of Van Gogh's life. At that time, the sun and bright colors of the Arles area were fascinated by Van Gogh, so he came here with infinite creative enthusiasm. Interested friends can take a walk on the Van Gogh Road in the visitor center, including Van Goghs high life and various attractions.

The Arles Photography Festival refreshed my understanding of the photography exhibition
This grand photography festival refreshed my impression of the photography exhibition. There were no lavish halls and bright lights. The buildings in the broken building showcase the works of the artists. Everything is free and easy, even careless. It seems to be arrogant to inform: "Art? Hey, this is too everyday for us French."
The rectangular wall of the exhibition is hung with a rectangular screen with a pair of hands cleaning a rose; The dark room covered by the cloth, a thumb on the wall is constantly brushing the screen of the mobile phone; a room in the room is littered with stippled photos; a doll lying on the ground wrapped in plastic paper The smiling head is spinning in the air... In addition to the photos, these are part of the Arles Photography Festival. This is a paradise for all art students.
Desperado.
This is the favorite town of Van Gogh.
The French know how to be romantic and know how to enjoy life. Their hard work of one year seems to be the arrival of this sunny holiday. With these free and easy Parisians, I went to the traditional towns of southern France to find the vineyards, lavenders and olive trees in my dreams, to taste the Provencal cuisine.
If you want to see for yourself what Van Gogh loved before, come to Arles. Look at the colors in his eyes and the ideals of his life.

When I stood in the slightly higher arena overlooking the small streets and alleys that radiated out, I suddenly understood my own transformation and why Van Gogh was able to paint here. It doesn't have much of a beautiful reputation. Yes, such a small town is everywhere in Europe. Its charm is just right, even after two centuries. And such a gas field is prepared for the artist.

After a few days of violently, I finally rented a car, and I quickly got up in the footsteps, still like the town trail. [Breeze] South Arles Arles, a town famous for its Van Gogh, where you can see the Lamartine Square where Van Gogh once lived, looking for Van Gogh's footprints in Arles.
Sunflowers opened with the seasons, and the cafes at night in Van Gogh's paintings have not changed 100 years ago. Time will pass, and some things will not.

The historical sites of Marseille are concentrated around the Old Port and can be reached on foot. The public transport network covers a wide range, the train station is very close to the city centre, and there are buses directly outside the station. The Eurolines long-distance bus stop is also close to the train station, providing long-distance buses to 18 cities in Europe. The road system is also very developed, whether it is a backpacker or a self-driving tour, it is very convenient.

In July, there were tourists who participated in the festival and watched lavender. During the whole of July, the accommodation in Avignon in Avignon was extremely tight, and it was possible that the accommodation was arrested three months in advance. If you want to see the festival and want to see lavender, you can consider staying in Arles Arles, where you can go to Lavender or the South Tour town of Day Tour, as well as the Van Gogh brush under the sunflower field. However, it is still necessary to fix the room in advance, and Arles is still very hot. If you don't do both, just avoid July.
