Architectural Aesthetics|Art space transformed from cement factory.
Hard core space, wrapped in tranquility
The original site of the design hotel in Nanjing Garden Expo was a cement factory. After renovation, the designer combined the original industrial elements with modern design concepts to create an accommodation experience that is both spatially powerful and comfortable.
😍I like the environmental design here, ♨️The public hot spring has a high dome design and arched floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The window faces the bamboo forest, and it is very comfortable to soak in the hot spring.
🍴The restaurant is also my favorite, with a cave-style design. It offers Western food for dinner. The semi-buffet breakfast in the morning is very rich, and the a la carte products are of high quality and delicious.
[Awesome] When you come to the Garden Expo, you can also go to Suyun Thirteen Gardens, Hug Paradise, Underwater Botanical Garden and other attractions, which are suitable for vacation.

Compared to Jingdezhen, I prefer this small city listed by National Geographic
Having traveled to many places in Jiangxi, if you ask me to recommend one must-visit destination, I would suggest Shangrao. This small city, recognized by National Geographic, features Huangling, one of China's most beautiful villages, and Sanqing Mountain, a Taoist sacred mountain and World Natural Heritage site, along with many other hidden gems. It's truly worth spending a few days exploring.
📚 Travel Guide:
🚩 4-day, 3-night itinerary (see route in P4‼️)
🔸Day 1: Take a high-speed train to Shangrao Station → Wangxiangu, stay at Wangxiangu
🔸Day 2: Wangxiangu → Sanqing Mountain, stay at Sanqing Mountain
🔸Day 3: Sanqing Mountain → Huangling → Wunvzhou night view, stay in Wuyuan County
🔸Day 4: Hotel → Wuyuan Station, return by high-speed train
⚠️ For a more relaxed trip, consider staying overnight in Huangling as well, as the area is less crowded before 9 AM. After visiting Huangling, head to Wunvzhou for the night view. During the day, you can explore lesser-known ancient villages like Tancun and Sanyan Bridge.
📷 Must-visit Spots
✅ Wangxiangu (P1-P3): An ancient-style town built on cliffs, reminiscent of a fantasy world. It offers a unique atmosphere at dusk.
✅ Sanqing Mountain (P5): A Taoist sacred mountain and World Natural Heritage site, featuring stunning peaks, ancient trees, and misty clouds, showcasing nature's artistry.
✅ Huangling (P6, P7): Recognized as one of China's most beautiful villages by National Geographic, famous for its rapeseed flower fields.
✅ Wunvzhou (P8-P10): A must-see night view in Wuyuan, with magnificent architecture, bright lights, and spectacular fireworks. Don't miss the traditional iron flower performance.
📌 Tips:
❶ Wunvzhou is mainly for night views and not much to see during the day. It's close to the county, so staying there can save on accommodation costs.
❷ The distances between these attractions are not short, and public transport is not very convenient. It's recommended to rent a car and opt for a one-way rental, as the arrival and departure high-speed train stations are different‼️

| Visited N times, will visit again.
👭This weekend, I went on a spontaneous trip with my besties. We visited Yixing again and chose Longyin Xishan, a hotel with Jiangnan characteristics. It is a happy place!
🎈I was attracted by the antique architecture as soon as I arrived at the hotel. It felt like I had traveled back in time. The room was very comfortable, and there were welcome fruits and tea.
💕After checking in, we strolled around Yada Yangxian Xishan Town. The academy and cinema had a strong cultural atmosphere, and the Zisha Museum was also amazing.
Yada Yangxian Xishan Town:
○There is a classical Chinese corridor bridge at the entrance of the town, with a beautiful view of distant mountains and mist in the background. It is a perfect place to take photos.
○The alleys in the town are winding, with antique buildings on both sides. You can take photos with the charm of Jiangnan water towns here.
🌄The next day, we got up early to climb Dongpo Pavilion. The scenery was picturesque, and we could overlook Yangxian Lake from the top.
●Dongpo Pavilion:
○The corridor at the top of Dongpo Pavilion is a great place to take photos. Standing on the corridor, you can see a wide landscape painting. Whether you take a portrait or a landscape photo, it will be beautiful.
○The cloud ladder of Dongpo Pavilion is also a unique photo spot. It has a unique shape and can be used to take creative photos.
Specialty foods
●Local specialties: In addition to the bamboo shoot dishes, health soups, Dongpo pork, and lily soup mentioned above, Yixing's salted pork with bamboo shoots, black rice, and wild mushrooms are also worth trying.

The temperature difference between morning and evening in Yichang is relatively large recently. It is recommended to wear a windbreaker, with a single layer inside and a windbreaker on top, which is very suitable for the mountains and rivers.

Khan El-Khalili | Step into the Arabian Nights of a thousand and one nights
Egyptians speak of the story of Khan El-Khalili with historical reminiscence and pride in their national essence.
Cairo's old city's Hussein Square is situated between the sacred Al-Azhar Mosque and the Imam Hussein Mosque. Historically, this was one of the urban centers during the Mamluk era!
At that time, Cairo was exactly at the crossroads of the trade route extending from the Indian Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea!
In the 14th century, Egypt's rulers chose this geomantically auspicious site, ordered the demolition of nearby cemeteries, concentrated the country's folk artists and various craftsmen here, and according to the division of each industry into its own street and alley, built what would later become the famous traditional craft market of Egypt known throughout the Middle East and the world. To this day, the alleys of Khan El-Khalili still retain their original names.
Even today, this market with a strong Islamic ambiance is still composed of thousands of individual small shops distributed along dozens of small streets and alleys. The market still retains the shopping environment and atmosphere of the Middle Ages in its narrow paths. The goods sold range from gold and silver jewelry, copper plates, stone carvings, leather goods to traditional Egyptian handicrafts, offering everything one could wish for, not to mention those tacky toy camels and pyramids and sphinxes made of alabaster.
The very popular archway can navigate to the Omkalthoum Bar & Restaurant, just around the corner, but don't have too high hopes for the scenery and portrait photography. The attitudes of the owners of these two shops are very unfriendly, they will chase away and block tourists who are taking photos. Actually, I don't find anything wrong with this behavior at all, after all, different people have different ways of doing business and attitudes. I thought that buying something from their shop would allow me to take photos, but it wasn't the case. After we made our purchases, we thought we could take a few photos, but the shopkeeper still refused to move away. Not only did they refuse to move, but they also had a very unhappy look on their faces. But that's okay, they never said that buying something entitled you to take photos. In the end, I took a few shots with a telephoto lens.
But what's more outrageous is that the item we bought was fine when we looked at it, but after the shopkeeper packaged it and gave it to us, we found it was broken when we got back to the hotel, and the broken part was glued back together (proving it wasn't damaged on the way back to the hotel).
To be honest, if you want to take photos and check in, you can spend an evening browsing around, but if you want to buy something, I wouldn't recommend coming here~ Khan El-Khalili Market
It's rare to describe a place as breathtaking, but this one is.
Shuanglin Temple, originally known as Zhongdu Temple, is located in Qiaotou Village, six kilometers southwest of Pingyao County, Shanxi Province. This ancient temple was built in the second year of Wuping in the Northern Qi Dynasty (571 AD). After experiencing the vicissitudes of life, it still preserves a large number of ancient buildings and painted sculptures. As an important part of the World Cultural Heritage of "One City and Two Temples", Shuanglin Temple attracts countless tourists with its unique charm.
🛕Temple tour:
1️⃣Hall of Heavenly Kings
The Hall of Heavenly Kings is magnificent, with 50 Dharma Vajra statues written inside and outside the hall. They are lined up in a row, sitting sideways, bare-chested and back, showing a majestic and compassionate temperament.
2️⃣Sakyamuni Hall
The Sakyamuni Hall is built on brick steps. On the Buddha altar in the hall, there is a Sumeru seat, and Sakyamuni Buddha sits on it, wearing a snail bun and a shoulder-to-shoulder cassock, with Manjushri Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva standing on both sides. The hall is full of hanging sculptures, with the story of Sakyamuni Buddha as the theme, divided into 84 plots in the wall. These exquisite painted sculptures make us feel as if we are in the world of Buddhism, feeling a sense of transcendence and tranquility.
3️⃣Mahavira Hall
The Mahavira Hall is the tallest building in Shuanglin Temple and the third main hall on the central axis. On the Buddha altar in the hall, there are statues of Dharma, Bao, and Ying San Shen Buddha, with Manjushri and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva sitting on both sides. There are 136 square meters of fine brushwork and heavy color murals around the hall, with bright colors and smooth lines, showing the superb skills of ancient craftsmen. Standing in front of this hall, I can't help but have a deep awe of ancient culture.
4️⃣Thousand Buddha Hall
The Thousand Buddha Hall is one of the most spectacular halls in Shuanglin Temple. There are more than 30 donor figures under the front eaves of the hall, with vivid characters, children, old men, and literati, each with their own emotions. The statue of Guanyin of the Moon in the center of the hall is one of the representative works of Shuanglin Temple. Her free sitting posture breaks people's inherent solemn treasure of Guanyin, showing a casual and peaceful state.
👁Highlights
1️⃣Thousand-Hand Guanyin
A thousand eyes, see the world; a thousand hands, care for all beings.
2️⃣The most handsome Weituo
The only Weituo statue on the stamp. "Angry eyes wide open" is fully demonstrated on it.
3️⃣Free Guanyin
Sitting with one knee, the posture is heroic. Full of relaxation!

Dujiangyan Citywalk Route for a Relaxing Day

Stay at Hoshinoya and enjoy a week of secluded vacation!
Take the Hoshinoya shuttle bus or taxi from the station and it only takes about 10 minutes to reach the HOSHINOYA reception desk in the Karuizawa Hoshinoya area.
Not only this HOSHINOYA, but also other properties visited (such as Fuji and Tokyo) have adopted the concept of separating the reception desk and the front desk. This is relatively novel and can create a strong resort feeling, as if you have entered the hotel. The front door of Hoshinoya is completely isolated from the world🍁
The service starts from the moment of welcoming guests. The reception area is quite low-key and small. The walls are decorated with old photos of Hoshino's pioneering work in the Karuizawa area. A service staff began to perform on a copper percussion instrument in the corner of the room, and the welcome drink was grape juice 🥂 instead of tea as I imagined.
After filling out a simple form, the check-in procedure is completed. At this point, Hoshinoya has also removed the credit card pre-authorization link, making the check-in procedure more enjoyable.
After checking in, guests need to take a special car to move to their room. The service staff enthusiastically introduced the facilities in the area and the precautions for the guest rooms, and sent a map and activity list of the hotel area. It really felt like a resort. What was even more gratifying was that the map and activity arrangements were corresponding. Chinese version.
There are a total of 77 guest rooms in Hoshinoya Karuizawa🏨, which are roughly divided into three types: water houses near the water, mountain-facing rooms on higher ground, and villas with courtyards. Each type is divided into single-family and single-family rooms. Stacked type. If you have enough budget, it is recommended to experience a single-family water wave house. It is surrounded by water on many sides and is an unbeatable choice in terms of landscape.
A room, a courtyard, and a private hot spring! I want to go 5 times a month.
Chengdu has really entered winter with the push of a button ❄️
I took my child to escape the hustle and bustle of the city during the National Day holiday, so I chose the Sweet Potato Vine Resort Hotel near Chengdu. The hotel is located in the Sancha Lake Scenic Area, with a beautiful blend of nature and culture.
The fresh white style and green plants are pleasing to the eye.
The holiday vibe is full, and you might think you're abroad.
Each room has a separate yard and hot spring pool♨️, which is clean, sanitary, and private.
The 200-square-meter room is really big and suitable for active children.
The home furnishings are exquisite and of good quality.
The indoor playground and outdoor play facilities are very complete, and you can completely free your hands to walk the baby.
You can also make an appointment to bake 🧁 cakes, pizzas 🍕, biscuits 🍪, etc. ⋯• The pizza 🍕 made by the children is delicious!
The hotel actually prepares supper and beer 🍻
After eating supper, go back to the room and take a bath♨️
You can enjoy the view of Sancha Lake while soaking in the hot spring♨️ in the yard.
This is not a holiday atmosphere‼️

Beijing Parent-Child Tour | No Special Forces! Laid-back and relaxed parenting style
|No Special Forces! Laid-back and relaxed parenting style. This Dragon Boat Festival took the kids to Beijing
As everyone knows, all major attractions in Beijing require advance reservations and are very crowded
Moreover, it's been really stuffy and hot recently, I really dare not go outdoors
Found a child-friendly hotel for a fun and cool parenting experience 😄
·
Rooms are set up with play areas for boys or girls
The girls' room is pink and cute, with a vanity, a small tent, and kitchen toys
Little Miss T screamed with joy as soon as she entered the room, she could play in the room for a long time~
·
🎠About children's play:
1️⃣Children's Adventure Park
It's much bigger than I imagined, with climbing areas that are high and deep
The rainbow slide allows for parent-child play
The famous rainbow devil's slide is also here
Long sleeves and pants are required to play‼️
The park also has a role-playing area and a toddler slide area
But overall, it's more suitable for children over three years old
The children's park is on the third floor of Kerry Centre, with direct access from the hotel lobby on the first floor
Guests can play for free and come and go until check-out!
Really don't get too excited
·
2⃣️Swimming pool fun
The second floor fitness center has a gym and a swimming pool
One deep pool and one children's pool
The children's pool is at a constant 30 degrees, comfortable temperature
Children can happily play in the water without feeling cold
Parents can swim nearby, so it's not boring
In addition, there are hot pools and steam rooms for male and female guests
·
3⃣️Outdoor slides
The fourth-floor outdoor garden terrace has a small slide and climbing frame
It's too hot during the day, recommended to play in the morning or evening
You can also enjoy the CBD night view
·
🍕About dining:
➡️The hotel's first-floor buffet restaurant, where breakfast is also served, has a rich variety and tastes great, and the dinner buffet is fantastic, with various seafood sashimi, barbecue, fruits, and even clowns interacting with children~
➡️Kerry Centre has many restaurants to choose from, the Beijing roast duck at Hai Tian Pavilion is really delicious 🤤 I didn't expect the Cantonese cured meat platter to be so authentic haha! Highly recommended 👍🏻
➡️The hotel's second-floor corridor leads directly to the China World Mall, very convenient for shopping, dining, playing, and parenting!
·
📸About photography:
The hotel's 4th-floor outdoor platform is a super cool spot for taking photos of the 'big pants'
If you're staying at the hotel, don't miss it, you can easily take great shots!
The hotel's long staircase is also very photogenic, paired with the crystal chandelier it's really rich and captivating~
