The room is nice and clean. We enjoy the warm floor and the reception staff speaks very good English. The hotel has children play area, and the 7-11 is just right at B2. We even doesnt need to go out for buying ice cream. The car parking is free. They have enough sign to show the parking area. Just one point was not much appreciate. Our room door was got someone opened at the mid-night without ring the bell. A person(not sure is male or female) came in and got out. This made me awake and couldnt fall to sleep again. This didnt awake our baby luckily. Obviously the person was a staff, and got a key card to open the door. We reported to the reception when we check out in the morning. However, the staff couldnt tell the reason. We could only give a reminder about checking the cctv, and this affected our experience well.

If you are looking for an easy sunrise experience, this hotel is for you! You can set the alarm, then open the curtain. Once the alarm goes off, open your eyes and there you go! Sun is rising in front of your eyes! My happiness was beyond words. The beach, the sauna, the vibe was all fantastic!

The check-in & check-out experience was a bit disappointing. No staff at the counter when we tried to check out in the morning. We only had a short stay in the hotel, but the facility inside the room is well equipped, even with a laundry machine. Overall is fine with this low price.

I was very satisfied with my 3 night stay at Waverent Hotel. Clean facilities, ocean view of Dongsan Beach and Jukdo Island, etc. The front desk staff also work with professionalism and I give them 5 stars. The price range is high when eating at Ingu, but I had a very delicious meal. I ate Yangyang Makguksu, Ingu House, Sundubu Jjamppong House, Burger World, etc. and left deliciously. Waverent Hotel is a hotel I want to stay at again in the future. I hope you prosper. I stayed very comfortably for 3 nights.

The elevator was uncomfortably hot because the air conditioning wasn't working, and it felt especially cramped when it was full. This definitely needs improvement. However, the facilities were excellent and very comfortable, and the overall layout was well-designed. What's more, unlike the heated pool in Sokcho which had an unpleasant odor, Samcheok's was perfectly clean and odorless. I'd definitely love to go back.

The hotel boasts an excellent location and fantastic views. We were allocated a corner room with a great outlook. We arrived early, and the male receptionist informed us we could check in at 1 PM. However, upon returning after lunch, a different female staff member, who offered no smile, insisted check-in wasn't until 3 PM. We noticed other guests checking in, some even without a credit card, which felt inconsistent. After I had to complain, we were finally allowed to check in, but then they demanded a credit card for a security deposit. The attitude of the Korean front desk staff was very frustrating and made us feel extremely uncomfortable, almost discriminatory. Otherwise, everything else was fine, and we had a very enjoyable day.

It's a bit inconvenient because the location isn't downtown, but the hotel itself is clean and okay. These days, I have a lot of meetings in Daegu, so I go to Daegu often, and I always use Inter-Burgo. To that extent, there is a certain level of trust based on name alone. This place is also clean and is not a bed for sleeping while traveling occasionally.

Very close to Sokcho Bus Terminal and Sokcho Beach, just a few minutes' walk away. There are also plenty of convenience stores and restaurants in the area. The room was quite spacious and very clean. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

GGuest UserGood experience with Legoland Resort Hotel! The location is very close to the Legoland Park. Many facilities within the hotel, but nothing to play in the legoland in winter. Most of the games was closed. Hopefully we can spend a whole day in the hotel.

TTuxannie WuanThe place is good, 7 minutes to ski and has a supermarket and eatery place nearby. Honestly the room is nice, with cooking facilities but the owner was not friendly at all. The toilet was stuck and leak they came with only the plunger and ask us settle ourself. Is winter and we came with kids, the kids built a snowman and they destroyed the snowman after we went for ski trip. We are a group of 10 and we wanted to cook our dinner. There is a small hut with table and chair and BBQ facilities, we ask to BBQ facilities (We are willing to pay, 10,000 won as stated) but she said is winter so we can’t use the BBQ pit, ended up we use the stove to cook up the meat. The husband and wife came in to the huts and told us we can’t do BBQ but we explained to her we just cook the meat and we didn’t do any BBQ. We left the place with cleaner than we came in. I have to WhatsApp her and show her the place is cleaned. The warn us that we must left the place by 1am but in fact all of us finished eh 9.30pm every day since we are tired from Ski. During the last day, they came to us and I was thinking they come and say goodbye but they just make sure we throw every single piece of rubbish outside the house. My husband wear shoe and just step to take our luggage and the owner insist us to take out the shoe before we went in to the house. Although we have explained, we just step in and take the luggage and go, he insisted us to take out the shoes. I have been travelling all around the world and we do understand every cultural is different but as the operator of tourist industry, the owner has to be service minded. If you can’t accept any international travellers then please do not list your place in any platform or put up a notice that international tourist is not permitted to stay there and we won’t book accordingly. Is such a shame to see this happened to us after our 5th trip to Korea and our 3rd trip to Pyeongchang for ski.

GGuest UserRooms were pleasant, everything functioning nicely. Hotel is comfortable and reasonably well-organised. Around the resort there are places where poor signage and language difficulties may give pause for non-Korean-speaking travellers, but it's nothing that a smartphone and a little persistence can't overcome. Free shuttle buses to the close-by ski hill and two local towns are frequent enough. Staff are kind, considerate and helpful. Food on the mountain is basic but perfectly fine. Unless you are coming for the casino specifically I wouldn't recommend the hotel in general. All facilities require extra charges and are cynically overpriced to rob more money from the punters, whose tinted-window executive cars arrive in droves. The less said about the buffet at the Grand Table the better. There is something very soulless about the High1 resort in general, and the strong corporate vibes give the place an eerie quality. The skiing is not so bad, although experienced riders will get bored after 2 or 3 days, unless a rare snowfall increases the fun. That said, the resort's snow-making abilities are quite impressive. If you are someone who gets irritated by poor piste etiquette, don't come here. At any given time half of the riders will be in the process of falling over, will have already fallen over, or will be chatting sat in the middle of the fairway. Try not to imagine anything in the way of apres-ski. As a solo traveller bored of watching the casino donkeys shift about the hotel, I went searching in the local towns for a bar. It was a depressing failure. I read the resort was intended to bring money to the depressed mining towns of Sabuk and Gohan, but seemingly it has turned these places into a succession of garishly presented empty restaurants and ”Thai massage” joints, the latter being a favourite of the aforementioned tinted-window crowd.

NNaveedAdvantages Conveniently situated Generously sized accommodations Impressive amenities Perfect for family trips, this place offers all the amenities you need, just like an Airbnb. You'll find a cooker, pots and pans and cutlery readily available. Conveniently located near a variety of dining options Drawbacks The staff had limited English proficiency, making communication quite challenging. Upon our early arrival at around 11am, we found the reception area to be deserted. Along with other guests, we were left waiting at the counter, unsure of what to do. Finally, around 1pm, a receptionist appeared. However, rather than simply informing us that check-in was only possible after two, they made each guest wait in queue to deliver the same message. Upon returning to the reception at 2, we were informed that we had to wait an additional hour. This experience was quite unprofessional and made it challenging to enjoy other activities

GGuest UserLocation is excellent if u plan to visit seoraksan. However, it is some distance from town. Hence there are no convenience stores or eateries around. Front counters were vert friendly and helpful. However, room maker up was quite sloppished. In fact, properly the worst I had experienced. Nonetheless, as we are not so particular and we were dead beat after hike each day, we were least concern to see room was still relatively messy n bed was not properly made (I made better beds at home).

GGuest UserThe Sokcho Cassia Hotel, which we visited for our wedding anniversary trip, was located in Daepo Port, and we could see both the port and the sea from the veranda of the accommodation. It was on the 25th floor, and when we went in, there was a slight musty smell from the bathroom shower room, so we took off one star for cleanliness! The breakfast here was 66,000 won, which was expensive compared to other accommodations, so we had high expectations, but there weren't many options for the price. Weekends are divided into three parts, and you can choose on a first-come, first-served basis when you check in. I think the checkout time was 11:00, but we checked out right after 8:00 after the first part of the breakfast to avoid traffic.
