One of the most famous hotels in Egypt, many celebrities and politicians have stayed there. The facilities are a bit old, but the service is very good. You can visit the rooms where celebrities have stayed at a fixed time every day. The hotel's breakfast is OK, but I feel uncomfortable with Egyptian food for dinner. It may be because I live in an old building. There are few sockets in the room.
In the hotel, you have to take a golf cart even to go to the restaurant or room because the resort is so big. The swimming pool and public areas are very beautiful, and the service is also very good. There will be someone like a butler who can be added on WhatsApp. You can tell them if you need anything. However, the only drawback is that the hotel restaurant is a bit expensive. It is recommended to eat out for dinner. There was a small episode that one night I drove back to the hotel, but the driver couldn’t find the way. Maybe this place is on a new map, but it is not very clear. It is recommended that you ask the hotel for a local address.

This is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village.
First of all, you have to be able to tolerate:
1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel.
2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide).
3. The breakfast is self-service and extremely simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who commented on the set and inexplicably praised it.
4. Tolerate or pay more to continue to tolerate the complaints of the chartered driver to drive into Nubian Village, and then contact the hotel by yourself in the middle of the night to change to a three-wheeled motorcycle in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes to doubt life and reach the mountaintop hotel.
5. Other prices are very unreasonable. We originally wanted to book dinner for the New Year's Eve party, but it cost 100 US dollars per person...
What did we get here?
1. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am.
2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic.
3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic.
4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles.
5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay.
We had to extend our stay to three nights as our cruise dates were changed. The manager was so kind and offered us an upgrade. I’m truly grateful for that because the view from our room was amazing. It’s pretty hot during the day, so we stayed indoor during the day and went out later on in the afternoon.
The only downside of the hotel is its distance from downtown Aswan. There are no stores or shops close by, so do plan your meals ahead of time or you can have lunch or dinner at the rooftop of the hotel. The entrance of the hotel is kind of hidden. You need to walk down a set of steep stairs to get into the building, then to a different floor to check in.
The room had everything we needed for the stay. It’s quite spacious and had a fridge, TV and and big closet. There is a bathtub in the bathroom but the shower area doesn’t have a door. The AC works great and kept us nice and cool.
We had breakfast everyday, and the content is pretty similar to all other Egyptian hotels but it’ll keep you full if you finish everything.
If you don’t like the hustle bustle near the center of Aswan and don’t mind the walk or taking cab, this would be a good option for a quiet, peaceful stay with a great view of the Nile.
The hotel was beyond my expectation. First of all, when we checked in, the front desk saw that we were a family of three and upgraded us to a three-bed room for free. In Egypt, where prices are high, this service is particularly good. Secondly, the hotel has a beautiful river view. Although it is not at the old waterfall, the river view here is not bad. There is a pier next to it, so it is also convenient to take a sailboat. We made an appointment for a sailboat at the pier outside at night, and the boatman took us directly to the hotel's pier after the end. It was super convenient.
The downside is that the breakfast is white rice, which is not delicious and barely full. But I didn't eat anything delicious in Egypt.
Perfect stay... I enjoyed the location for the free transportation from or to the island... the port is in a place near to everywhere... the restaurant staff and housekeeping was very freinly in addition to the guest relation Christine ...
but the reception staff was very rude and unfreindly and non cooperative... But Christine always recovering the obstacles...
The breakfast was ok
the room service food was good i have ordered club sandwich, salad and fetuchini it was ok
Thank you really for all the staff except the reception
It’s one of if not the best hotel in Aswan, situated in an exclusive island with an amazing view of the Nile and Nubian village. The staff was super comforting and lovely. There’s a shuttle boat that runs 24 hours to the main center of Aswan. I had an incredible time here. <3
The hotel is on the hill, the environment is very beautiful, there is a small pool, the restaurant and the big pool are under the mountain. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the Nile in the room, which is really beautiful. The waiters are hospitable and attentive. They have unfinished snacks and fruits every day. Knowing that we have no time to eat breakfast, we specially prepared two large bags of breakfast for us to eat on the road. It was so intimate. The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were very new, the waiter would fold a small snake for us every day, stayed for three days, it was different, thank you very much! I like this hotel very much.
The price of a four-star hotel is not cheap in Aswan, but the location is OK. The Nile River is less than 1 km away, so it is convenient for eating and traveling. It is less than 500 meters away from the Old Falls Hotel. It is just a two-step walk away. It is convenient to visit. The outdoor scenery is OK. But it is definitely not as good as the Old Falls.
The Nubian Museum is right outside the door, and there are many Nubian women selling small items at stalls next to it, with very favorable prices. Be careful of the coachman, who will steal things by taking advantage of the children! The breakfast variety is obviously worse than that of the Cairo Hotel, but it is still acceptable!

GGuest UserWhat you see is what you get, very cute place. The whole village is super cute in dopamine style! Breakfast is delicious, you can eat on the balcony and the scenery is particularly good, directly see the Nile! The sister of the homestay also took me to touch the little crocodile for free! Super experience! This small village is especially suitable for hanging out and relaxing for a leisurely day!

GGuest UserThe room I booked has a view of the Nile River. The location is also better. The room is big enough. The shower head leaks a little. Everything else is fine. However, I recommend you to book on-site at the hotel front desk. The price will be much cheaper than booking online. Based on my order For example, it will be 1/3 cheaper.
ZZhilvdeshenquThere aren't many hotels in this remote place like Aswan, so don't ask too much. Those who have been to Egypt know the situation of hotels, so there's no need to say more. This hotel doesn't provide water, so you may need to prepare it in advance. The balcony can see the Nile River, with a road in the middle. The guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic. I asked about taking the bus to Abu Simbel. I didn't have time to eat breakfast because I had to catch the bus. In fact, judging from the results, it was edible. It was very fast to take a taxi from the hotel to the bus station, and the bus was also slow and started half an hour late. Going there early was mainly to buy tickets in advance to avoid the tickets being sold out due to the large crowds, although it was unlikely.
GGuest UserAmazing time ,basic rooms ,but clean beds towels. Hot shower and the best view but 100% of the credit for our amazing time goes, to helma the manager and his staff especially khalid who was there for everything we needed , Helmy went above and beyond driving us to the sights for less than.a taxi , but the most amazing was. The Nile under our Balcony full of. Feluka boats to take you to ancient temples and delicious waterside cafes and historic islands this hotel might look nothing.but if you want the true Nubian experience of aswanth8s 8s the place for you ,basic breakfast of bread honey eggs and cheese with tomatoes for the price amazing ,, Linda and ivy uk x

いいもたろうLocation of the hotel: Cross the island from the boat dock near KFC on the riverside main street, Corniche (EGP 10 per person, EGP 60 per person at night), go up the stairs and the blue door on the right is the entrance. The owner is not usually at the hotel, so be sure to let him know your arrival time in advance.
Facilities: Air conditioner, hair dryer, shampoo, body soap, shared refrigerator, shared kettle, washing machine (USD 4 per use)
It's a bit of a hassle to cross the river, but it's perfect for those who want to stay quietly away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The owner treated us to mango juice from his mango field. It was very rich and delicious. He also gave us a handmade necklace made by his daughter. We stayed for three days, but the room was not cleaned, and towels were replaced by contacting them every time. The neighbors were friendly and called out to us. A Nubian girl told us, ”I like Japanese anime.”
HHiromuI was surprised that there are such kind people.
All the staff at this hotel are kind.
To be honest, I was very sad because I caught a bad taxi on the way to the hotel.
However, the hotel staff saw me and encouraged me, and provided the best service.
They told me a lot about Nubian Village, which made me very happy. It's a shame that I didn't take many photos of the hotel.
I will never forget this hotel.
