We super liked our hotel room that was very spacious and of course the view that overlooks the ocean and the pool downstairs. Everything in this resort is just fantastic. Nothing but great reviews for this amazing resort. It might not have the greatest sand and bech but the service and the hotel's amenities compensate what's lacking from the beach. Today, we planned to explore the idyllic village where the guesthouse is located—No. 13 Shang'ao Village, Daxu Town. 🌸 A Slow-Paced Retreat in a Song-Style Courtyard Nestled in the peaceful countryside, Sanxitang Guesthouse seems to slow down time itself. The guesthouse's architecture is elegant, its Song Dynasty-inspired courtyard transporting you back in time. Every step you take reveals a harmonious blend of nature and human artistry. The courtyard, adorned with various flowers and plants, features a babbling brook and playful fish. The location is not very convenient (most homestays are like this), but the design and architecture are very exquisite, which eliminates my prejudice against homestays. Not recommended if you don't drive, the last section of the road is not easy to drive, and large cars have to drive slowly (electric cars are also recommended, because the hotel has charging piles). I thought it was closed, but it is actually semi-open, both private and not stuffy, and every detail is done very well. Because I didn't plan to soak in the private hot spring, I didn't bring a swimsuit. After I went there, I found that there was a KTV opposite the private hot spring (rarely visited), so I was not worried about being disturbed. The room layout and hotel greenery details are all well done, especially the tea sets are all silver, which must have cost a lot of money (I was obsessed with buying tea sets before, and I can tell the price at a glance). The restaurant layout is also very warm and comfortable. In general, the hotel's private hot spring and details are very good. Disadvantages: The afternoon tea is not delicious. The breathtaking island in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai region - Yushan Island 😍, has been on my mind for so long! This small island may not be large, but it's filled with pristine charm, where you can wander freely 👣. It's not overly developed yet, which is just fantastic 😎! On a clear day, the sea is so blue it's intoxicating 🌊, and if you're lucky, you might even encounter the magical blue tears 💧! I finally fulfilled my dream of camping on the island and sea fishing before the high temperatures hit 🎣! 🚗 For transportation: I strongly recommend driving to Shipu Pier 🚗, taking a boat around nine in the morning, with the journey taking about 3 hours 🕙. For those who get seasick, remember to take motion sickness medicine in advance 💊, or choose a seat near the stern of the boat 😉. If you're taking a high-speed train, you'll need to transfer to a bus directly to Shipu at Ningbo Station 🚌. We drove from Shanghai, so we arrived at Shipu the afternoon before and stayed overnight, then took the ferry the next day 🚢. 🏠 For accommodation: The island's facilities are limited, and rooms during holidays can be scarce, so be sure to book in advance 📱! There are no cars on the island, and transportation is by tricycle 🛺. Upon arrival at the pier, the B&B owner will pick you up with a tricycle 🤗.
