Baolian Temple, Xuzhou - A beautiful temple.

Transportation: Take Subway Line 2 to Jiulong Lake Station, then transfer to Bus 613 and get off at Baolian Temple Station. Tips: Free admission, just swipe your ID card to enter. Vegetarian food is available on both sides of the main gate of the temple. There is a table at the main gate with incense sticks that you can take for free (up to three). The history of Baolian Temple can be traced back to the Liu Song period of the Southern and Northern Dynasties. The founder was a monk who had traveled to the west to obtain Buddhist scriptures, so the temple was once an Indian-style temple, but all that has become nothing. The current Baolian Temple was rebuilt in 2009. As a dojo of Maitreya Bodhisattva, the entire temple has the momentum of a Buddhist ancestral court, and the temple buildings in the temple combine the grandeur and luxury of the Tang Dynasty, with bold and gorgeous colors. Since ancient times, Pengcheng has been one of the nine provinces, where dragons and tigers have fought for thousands of years. Xima Terrace is located at the highest point of Hubushan in the center of Xuzhou. In 206 BC, the world-renowned hero Xiang Yu, after destroying the Qin Dynasty, established himself as the Overlord of Western Chu and set his capital in Pengcheng (now Xuzhou). On the south mountain of the city, he built a terrace for watching horse plays, martial arts performances, and military reviews, hence the name Xima Terrace. To commemorate the hero Xiang Yu and praise his historical achievements, Xima Terrace has undergone several reconstructions. Today, the ancient Xima Terrace is strictly structured, well-proportioned, solemn and majestic. The layout follows the mountainous terrain, gradually ascending, and is well-arranged. The mountain gate is a three-bay gatehouse-style gate. On the wall of the entrance, there are a few seal characters 'Pulling up the mountain and covering the world'. On the high platform on the east side, there is a bronze cauldron, engraved with the four characters 'Overlord's Heroic Wind'. Xiongfeng Hall is the main hall of Chushi Shengchun Courtyard. I knew that the most beautiful season to visit Xuzhou is autumn and winter, but I never expected it to be this beautiful! Xuzhou's Xima Platform is one of the earliest existing relics in Xuzhou. On the Nanshan Mountain south of the city, he built a lofty platform to watch horse performances, hence the name Xima Platform. As soon as we arrived at the entrance of the Xima Platform scenic area, we saw ginkgo trees swaying like gold in the breeze on both sides of the road, and the falling leaves scattered like a golden ginkgo avenue. The moment I saw the sculpture of Xiang Yu in the scenic area, I was even more amazed. The phrase 'The whole city is clad in golden armor' came to mind. Golden ginkgo leaves spread under the feet of the hero, and the huge canopy above the courtyard shone like a magnificent canopy in the sunlight. However, the best photography spot in Xima Platform is not just this one.
