The front desk was friendly and there were many reviews saying that luggage was stored, but it was self check-in, so luggage storage was not possible. It was difficult to find it anywhere on Trip.com.
Something different than expected... Even though I wrote down the country code and cell phone number well, the message needed for self check-in did not come, and the central entrance door was being repaired. may have done
It seems that the information written here on Treat.com does not work well with hotel check-in. E-mail and phone number were written as they were. Even though I'm not Chinese, my Chinese number was my number. There was no luggage storage, but when I went to check-in, they said they couldn't get in because it was still not cleaned. I think I entered after 1 hour and 30 minutes before the check-in time. After 4:30? However, there was no apology or apology, just wait 5 minutes, wait 10 minutes, that's all. It's been a while and I'm embarrassed to wait longer...
embarrassment point
-Self check-in: I'm glad I got a text message and had the online key on my phone... i can't even get a text
-Check-in time: Even if you arrived after a long time, you have to wait longer;
Good point
- Close to the station
- On a hill but close to the tram
- Anyway, it's clean.
- Quiet
- Air conditioning works well
- Spacious bathroom
We've stayed at this hotel before, several years ago. A different experience this time. Breakfast not included, and very expensive. Bar and restaurant advertised but closed. There is a minibar in the room, are the items free? Or is there a charge? I have no idea. The hotel has 7 dedicated parking bays for guests. You can't book them and during our stay I only saw some available as we were leaving on Sunday morning. There is some street parking available at 1chf for maximum of 2 hours. The room would have been just roomy enough except we are traveling with our son who slept on the very uncomfortable sofa bed which, when extended, meant we were all edging past each other. The shower entry was so narrow that my wide-shouldered son had to go in sideways. Luckily, we're all quite slender. The room itself is looking very run down and the kettle leaked. Also, not enough lighting: if you want to read, you need to position yourself directly under a light. On the plus side, the location is convenient for trams, close to the centre, there is a Co-op downstairs and a bakery across the road.
Like a homestay, with a separate kitchen, bathroom, living room, large space, complete facilities (except for cooking utensils in the kitchen may be lacking, such as the one we live in without a shovel, it is inconvenient to eat), clean and hygienic . You can pick up your keys on time and with your password. When you check out, you can put the keys into the key box. You have never seen a staff member. Going out is the 10-way tram between the airport and the Central Railway Station, which is very convenient.

This time I was traveling and stayed at this hotel recommended by a friend. The room was very nice and the attitude of the service staff was also very good. It was very nice. I will come back next time.
Wonderful hotel, ideally positioned between lake & the city. Lovely breakfast, just can't fault it. Rooms are well appointed with extremely comfortable bed. Restaurant/Cafe are very nice with lovely views. Have stayed here 4-5 times & we'll be back next year to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.
No idea what the previous reviewer was talking about, I stayed in May 2022 and it was great! To break it down- Location/amenities: It is ideally located right next to tram/bus stops, walking distance from city centre and <30min from airport via public transport. V.close to the water with beautiful views across the city/mountains. There is a luxury gym at an extra daily cost of 15CHF. It is slightly tired in terms of furnishings, but nothing is broken or dirty in any way, it's just not super modern. If you're looking for a high end super fancy hotel, then maybe pay more to go elsewhere (though Zurich is a very expensive city). Room: I had a double comfort room- it was absolutely huge. The bathroom had a v.powerful shower (Zurich water is super soft), decent hairdryer, and apparently eco-friendly toiletries (though unclear how they were eco-friendly, all in small plastic bottles). The room has loads of storage, mirrors, TV (no English channels), a coffee table, 2 chairs and a desk. The bed was 2 single beds pushed together, so this may not suit couples. There is an option to have your mattress adjusted via air pressure to change the hard/softness of it to suit your preferences. There was a mini fridge and a coffee machine with compostable coffee pods, and they happily provided me a kettle when I asked. Breakfast: Ideal for me- a cold buffet of fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, croissants, rolls/bread, spreads, cereals/muesli, yoghurts, pastries, juices. There is also a chef who will prepare you eggs/omelettes to order. Large selection of teas and coffees. They also provided me with plant milk upon request. It is served from 6.30-10 on weekdays, which may be a little early for some, and 7-11 on weekends. Staff: All whom I encountered were exceptional. Particularly the lady who checked me in and gave me my key each evening, and the gentleman who runs the breakfast service. Kind, personable and professional, perfect English. They were available 24/7, and responded to any query I had immediately and helpfully. Recommended! :)
Travel is very convenient, except for the church bells that cannot be avoided in the city, it is fine not to knock in the middle of the night, but at 7 am, the bell was awakened. In addition, the hotel does not have a front desk, all by mail self-check-in in advance, the hotel will give the password.
Although this hotel belongs to a hotel chain, our stay was perfect. The situation is very close to the Bahnhofstrasse (near to the LV store). The staff was flexible and managed everything to be convenient and pleasant for us. The room was clean, well appointed. The bed was extremely comptable (very rare in hotels in general). Also, the breakfast was really appreciated, you get exactly what you expect in a hotel : eggs, salmon, fresh exotic fruits, juices, breads, cheese, etc, etc. We recommend!
The hotel is located near Lake Zurich. The overall price-performance ratio is not a problem in Zurich. After arriving at the hotel, the basic luggage service is up to the level of Park Hyatt. When checking in, the front desk was very enthusiastic and attentive. They actively provided us with help and introduced us to the various facilities of the hotel. When I thought I forgot my wallet at the previous hotel, I immediately offered to help contact them. The hotel room is considered large in Switzerland and has been well maintained since 2004. The only drawback is that the bathroom is a tilted angle that is more common in Europe, that is, there is no door that can be completely closed to separate the shower area. I personally don't like this design. In general, Park Hyatt Zurich is a good choice for a budget of 800-1000 Swiss francs per night.
