Zurich District 8-Riesbach Hotels

The Ambassador is a newly renovated hotel just off the lake in Zurich. Old town and shopping just minutes away. Train station and tour busses a 30-minute walk Staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. WiFi didn't work but got a passcode for the business WiFi instead. Television also had some issues (kept rebooting). But, we chalk that up to a new place. Everything else was great!

The rooms in foreign countries are generally small. It was good to travel abroad during the May Day holiday. The service was very good, the customer service was very gentle, and the overall feeling was good. But it was a holiday. The price is still a bit high

I thought it was an ordinary praise. After comparing it with Paris, I praised it. The kitchen utensils and tableware are very complete. There is a small elevator and the brother will also help with luggage.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, elegantly decorated and equipped with modern facilities. The magnificent mountain view outside the window was a pleasure to wake up every morning. The bed was very comfortable and ensured a good sleep quality.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The customer service at the front desk greeted us warmly and mentioned that they would make our final hotel experience during the trip a wonderful ending. They delivered our heavy luggage to our room without us even asking, which we greatly appreciated, especially since we had come from Zurich. :) The breakfast offered a variety of options, although it still needs some enhancement. The meat section is made to order to ensure freshness, but we didn't notice that clause written in the menu. The hotel's location is strategic, being close to Zurich's old town and shopping districts. The tram stop is just a three-minute walk away, and trams pass right in front of the hotel. Fortunately, our room was located on the quieter side of the hotel, and we were glad to have a balcony in our room.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, just steps away from popular attractions. Rooms are very spacious. Overall, it provides great value for money, ensuring a memorable experience.

The location is excellent. It is definitely 30 minutes away from the airport. If you are at the station, push your luggage for 5-8 minutes. About 15-20 minutes from Bahnhofstrasse, there is also a coop within 5 minutes walk. There is no air-conditioning. If you book in summer, please note that the room is still a little stuffy. Breakfast is very average, there is no refrigerator in the room, only a coffee machine, and the bar for breakfast downstairs is 24 hours. The hotel is pretty good and the price is right. But don't expect too much for breakfast.

It is convenient to leave the lake for a few tens of meters, but the hotel belongs to the family hotel type, clean but the facilities are old, the elevator can only sit one or two people, there is no hotel parking lot, you need to use the surrounding public parking space, there is no late night.
