Zurich District 1-Altstadt Hotels

Overall it's pretty good, a fast chain hotel, the room is clean and modern, the room is large for the same price in Switzerland, free water is provided (need to take it from the refrigerator next to the front desk), hair dryer, bath towel, toiletries, cotton swabs and cotton pads are provided; there are no disposable slippers and toothbrushes, you need to bring your own. It's a 10-minute walk from the train station and has a good location in the city center.

This time I was traveling and stayed at this hotel recommended by a friend. The room was very nice and the attitude of the service staff was also very good. It was very nice. I will come back next time.

Room was clean and surroundings have plenty of food and shops. Supermarket is also a stone’s throw away. We got a nice view of the river. Only thing was we had to wait an hour before we could check in as the room wasn’t ready, but the staff compensated us with late check out the next day. No complaints other than that!

The location was easy to find and access. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quite small for two adults carrying two large suitcases, and it was quite hard to fully open both in the room simultaneously. Overall, it was still great.

The hotel's elegant decorated rooms provide a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city. This hotel places emphasis on healthy sleep, hence they have worked with a Swiss family company, Roviva for the bedding (there’s a small card information on the benefits of roviva bed provided). The room also comes with a pair of arm chairs and coffee table and amenities, including free Wi-Fi, Nespresso machine and movable flat screen TV. Lastly they have also provided an umbrella and grocery tote bag in case you need it which was very thoughtful on guests needs. The breakfast buffet comes after booking the room (optional), offering a wide selection of fresh fruits and delicious hams, bread and yogurt options to start the day. All in all, my family and I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel.

Hotel is very conveniently located near the main train station. Perfect for getting around and the are many food options within walking distance. Hotel is clean and good as well. Would recommend!

I was really confused about this hotel. I stayed in it twice in one week. The first time, I stayed in room 220 (single room). Although it was so small, it was clean and the facilities were normal. But the second time, I was assigned to room 222 (same single room), which was the beginning of tragedy. First of all, the hygiene of room 222 really shocked me: 1. 🩸There were traces of dried red liquid sprayed on the wall of the room (reasonable suspicion is blood/because I found that it can be wiped off with a tissue, and the color is dark red and you can't tell if you don't pay attention) but I really don't know how it got there... 2. 🕸️There were spider webs, so I called for cleaning but their eyesight was so poor that they still didn't notice it, and I wiped it off with a tissue myself. This shows that the cleaning staff and their seriousness are really slightly different. 3. There is a black spot on the bath towel 4. There are very fine hairs on the bed sheet The lady at the front desk said she was really sorry and helped me upgrade to a double room. Although the hygiene is better, the hardware facilities are poorly maintained: 1. The shower door seal is stuck, so the door cannot be closed, and water will naturally overflow outside the shower 2. The stainless steel basket is shaky and obviously needs to be reinforced with screws, but no one has done it... If you can tolerate the ”poor hygiene you may face” and ”poor maintenance”, then this hotel is still very desirable: 1. Location, location, location! A very good location, convenient to go anywhere , no need to take a taxi, and it's just a simple ten-minute walk to the airport and the train station Finally, the service depends entirely on the person. There was an old white man who accidentally opened my room (he could open it even if it was locked/luckily he was not there 💩) and a lady who admitted his mistake and helped me change rooms. The breakfast everything omelet was delicious *Real feedback, I hope everyone will consider it as appropriate

The hotel is RIGHT IN FRONT of the main Central Train station. Behind the hotel is the shopping belt and the old town where you can walk to see the various architectural buildings. The staff there were helpful especially in the early morning getting me a taxi to the airport. Cleaning staff replenishes the toiletries daily without fail. Is a great hotel location and place to stay in Zurich.

This hotel is beautiful! It has a lovely garden with many art pieces. The hotel is classic. The staffs are extremely helpful and friendly.

The location is 5 to 10 minutes from Zurich Central Station. Lost Münster Abbey and St. Peter's Church are also within walking distance along Lake Limmat The haired gentleman who is the manager of the hotel is also very kind. The lady who served me coffee in the morning was also kind. The bedding was clean and the breakfast was good.
