Unfortunately, that was a very bad expression. When we entered the room, my wife and I were greeted by a very strong smell of urine. And it was extremely hot and it made the smell even more intense the longer I stayed inside. It was so hot that we were like in a sauna. The worst part was that the bed was broken in the middle and my wife and I almost sat down instead of sleeping. we didn't sleep until morning

12th floor. The entrance, hallways and the stairs up to the room etc. were a bit run down and dirty looking but inside the apartment was great and incredibly warm and cozy in the majority of the room. I was very cold coming in so that was perfect for me. Only problem was not being able to turn the heat down at night (I didn't find any way to do it at least) and I had to sleep with the window open where trains would come and go very often and people outside on the street yelling random things sometimes at night, so I didn't sleep very well. The heat came from the ceiling in the bedroom. Also had some people arguing on the floor below and some stomping on the floor above around 00:00 to 03:00 but that's not really the hotel's fault because there's no active staff present. Maybe worth noting is that I stayed here the night of a big concert (Slipknot) at Hallenstadion which is close by. I would stay here again if I found a way to turn the heat down at night.

Chosen for its location: 5 minutes walk from Oerlikon train station. Not luxurious but quite correct for the price!

It was my second time in a Swiss Apartment. This time I received a Very small studio apartment. The oven was not working and the bathroom shower was broken and leaked. I contacted the hotel staff but I didn't receive a positive response.
