We had a great stay at Swiss Star California – Self Check-IN! The place was really comfortable and clean. The best part is the self check-in – super convenient, especially if you're arriving late. Everything worked smoothly, and the location was easy to find. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a hassle-free stay.

In a very good location in the centre of the city, and did the job for what we needed it for. It smelled a bit damp when we entered, but open windows for a while and it was fine.

It was not suitable for accommodation with children. The location is good but there was a problem with the cleaning. There was hair everywhere and the plates were dirty.

Very good for a deep sleep after a busy day. Appreciated the cleanliness, and the location is just perfect next to public transportation and 5 minutes walking to restaurants

Upon arrival, I couldn't access the room, which was outside the building (horrible). We tried to contact the hotel but couldn't. I asked them to send me a WhatsApp message, and they told me to call them. They never contacted me. In the end, we were able to call, and on top of that, they told us that only German is spoken in Switzerland. A total lack of empathy for the guests. The room was a disgrace. The worst accommodation I've ever experienced. Broken blinds, no cable TV, a non-working radiator, no coat rack, no hangers, or anywhere to hang a jacket, no hairdryer, a broken bedside light, only one fork, only one teaspoon, and the bathroom curtain, apart from being torn, sticks to your body when you shower.
A place like that is unbelievable.
