The room is much more than 18 square meters, it should be 40 square meters, and there is also a living room. The location is perfect. You can see the church on the other side of the river from the room, and I feel very happy when I wake up every day.

An old luxury hotel with a very good location, right by the lake. It is very convenient to eat, drink and shop around. The room facilities are also well maintained. Fruits and bottled water are provided every day. Flowers are carefully placed in the room. It is indeed Warm-hearted and has the feel of old-style luxury.

We stayed 3 nights at the Storchen for pleasure. Love the location - quick to shopping and the train station. We ate there 2 of 3 nights - Rooftop bar is cool with good food, bar had a great burger and very affordable wines. I had a business meeting and they accommodated me in a great Boardroom for the 1 hour zoom call late at night. Only drawback was that the room was the size of a cabin on a cruise ship - sway too small for 2 people. Bathroom was NYC-lvel tiny.

We booked this hotel at the recommendation of a local friend. We were not disappointed. It is 20 min from the airport and we used the car service recommended by the hotel. Probably way more than a taxi would cost but worth it after a long flight. We got a deluxe riverside room which had two large windows and was extremely comfortable. The hotel is situated in the old district and is close to many attractions and restaurants. We walked for several hours along the river and lake. We were only able to stay one night, unfortunately. Every member of the staff is genuinely friendly. We needed some assistance investigating options to extend our stay and they assisted us at every step.

This was my 5th., stay at Storchen. Want to walk up to the big banks? - Around the corner is Paradelplatz & Bahnhofstrasse (the heart of the financial district). Want to shop high end? This place is surrounded by boutiques on the cobblestone walkways and alleys. Want to take a ride on the paddleboat? Walk to end of Bahnhofstrasse just down the street. The morning breakfast is served on the balcony overlooking the river with its very own Venitian style dock right below. Service is impeccable. Rooms have every modern ammenity. Far more to appreciate than the other $$$$ hotels.

We were blown away by this hotel, the rooms are immaculately clean and roomy, the staff go above and beyond and the location is just perfect. It's just too bad that we could only stay one night.
