An old luxury hotel with a very good location, right by the lake. It is very convenient to eat, drink and shop around. The room facilities are also well maintained. Fruits and bottled water are provided every day. Flowers are carefully placed in the room. It is indeed Warm-hearted and has the feel of old-style luxury.

no where to lounge in the hotel unless you were spending money. front desk vibe was unwelcoming for me. housekeeping was great and friendly. Visit was not worth the price of the hotel for me. Hotel was very expensive but amenities were pretty basic. Would not return for the price and hospitality.

After a long and stressful train journey I wasn’t in the best mood when I arrived at this hotel. I was greeted with a glass of cold water a cool damp face towel and some very friendly staff. All my negative emotions melted away. When I saw my room my whole day turned into one of delight. I stayed in an upper floor room with views over the river towards the old town. It was magical. The room itself was clean and elegant. Windows that open are always welcome, more so when the view is so great. The bed was comfortable, the shower clean an and easy to use. The room service choice was limited but was delicious. Breakfast downstairs, with a choice to sit on the terrace overlooking the river was of good quality. There was a good buffet selection including some wonderful bread rolls (but no toast) plus the option of a la carte hot dishes. The best breakfast of my European holiday so far. I may never go back to Zurich, but if I did this would be my first choice.

We stayed there with family during our summer vacation. Rooms are clean , well maintained and decent size and staff is really helpful.I like the help provided to us by reception and coneirge desk. Front office staff was quite helpful.Location is good.

Went to the restaurant/bar on a rainy day visit to Zurich from Basel. We arrived quite soaked and the staff wholeheartedly welcomed us. We asked if we could sit next to the fireplace which was occupied at the time of our asking. The wonderful staff alerted us to its availability once it opened up and quickly moved us there from our seats at the window across from the bar. The food was fantastic, one of the best lunches on our trip. I highly recommend spending time at Storchen Zurich, it is quite expensive but worth it.
