Hotels in Tangjiawan / Sun Yat sen University, Zhuhai

The hotel is in an excellent location for a relaxing beach trip. It is a short taxi ride Zhuhai's main city area further south. Swimming is not allowed on this stretch of beach and the hotel pool had already closed for winter. However,lots of families were enjoying crabbing in the rock pools at low tide. The hotel decor is a little tired but it is clean. The shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast is basic a Chinese buffet with the addition of toast and jam. There are some good independent restaurants and cafes nearby, Ephraim cafe is very nice with friendly owners, original artwork and cute cats.

The environment is clean and the service is good. In addition to the facilities provided by general hotels, there are also washing machines and cooking stoves, but no refrigerators. The hotel provides plenty of parking spaces (with charging stations), both open-air and indoor, so you don't have to worry about not having enough parking spaces. It takes about 8 minutes to drive to Powerlong Plaza, about 10 minutes to Tangjia Ancient Town, and about 15 minutes to Impression City.

The location is near Tangjia Ancient Town. It was my first time here and I drove there quickly after dinner. It was a bit surprising to have such a small but high-end hotel in the town! The hotel's sanitation and facilities have always been well maintained and very clean, which deserves praise! The hotel's decoration has some ancient architectural touches, and there is a small lawn outdoors, which is perfect for bringing kids. There is also a stove for making tea, which you can rent for just a few dozen dollars if you ask! The only downside is that the room is not soundproofed, and noise from the neighboring room can be easily heard (You can also hear the knock on the door from the neighboring room)

This is a very unique hotel, elegant and romantic, very comfortable, creating a homely feeling. The front desk staff is very gentle, enthusiastic and efficient. Yesterday, we asked the front desk to collect a cake and put it in the refrigerator. When we came back to ask for it, it was quickly delivered to the room. Before checking out, we accidentally broke the mouthwash cup in the room. The front desk immediately cared about whether we were injured. It was really considerate. The check-out procedure was also handled very quickly. The waiter also said goodbye to us very warmly. It was really nice.

This hotel is located in an area that is a mix of older fishing villages, new developments, land to be developed and industrial areas. It is positioned somewhat off the main road and has been recently renovated. The service of the staff was excellent. They helped with laundry and reminded me to book (I was waiting for an appartment) if the rooms were running out. The breakfast is great and diverse, as is the cleanliness. There is a very small shop for drinks, chips cigarettes, in front of the hotel. Otherwise restaurants can be found in the innovation hub a few hundred meteres to the left with your back to the hotel. Burgerking, Starbucks, but also Chinese restaurants can be found there. All in all the staff did their best to make my story pleasurable. I am very impressed with the attention to detail and the customer centricness of Atour. They really thought things out from a customer perspective and it is clear to me that a service designer has been at work here. Example: the washing line that you can draw out in the shower, if you need it. This while still maintaining a high regard for interior design. A final plus point. The height of the chairs in relation to the table in room. Often tables are to high and chair to low to work on a laptop (I am 1.80 cm btw) here is was perfect.

The service provided by the hotel front desk brother and sister is very good. Check-in is fast. The room is large and comfortable. The soundproofing is very good. Parking is very convenient. The bedding is soft and comfortable. The toiletries used are very good. The breakfast is very good. The service provided by the front desk brother and sister is very enthusiastic. The lobby manager is very proactive in handling problems. I am very satisfied. I will come again next time I have the opportunity.

The room is quite big and quiet. The layout is like the style of the 1930s. Thank you for giving one more breakfast. The breakfast is also great! The steamed buns are handmade, not semi-finished, and delicious

Our room, food, and service were all excellent! We loved every minute of our stay, especially the private bathtub and pool on our balcony. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both exceptional. The gym was great. We want to thank Xenia for taking care of us during our stay. She went above and beyond making sure we had a VIP experience.

To be honest, the location is not very good. I booked this place after reading the reviews. After passing through Gongbei Port in Macau, I took a taxi. The driver kept asking me if I booked the wrong place. I looked carefully and found that it was right. The driver said that it was not a busy area in Qinglu North Road and it was still a little far from anywhere. When I arrived, I found that there were only a few independent apartment buildings. The outside was not busy at all. There was only one supermarket and one restaurant. Fortunately, they were open, otherwise it would be inconvenient to buy anything and eat. It was far away from Sun Moon Bay. I could only see a little bit of the back. I enlarged the picture several times and it was still so small! Secondly, the hotel price was more than 500 yuan a long time in advance before the New Year. After arriving, I saw that it was a loft upstairs and downstairs were directly divided into two floors. The upstairs and downstairs became separate. When I booked it, I didn’t notice that there was a staircase at all. The elderly couldn’t go up and asked to change the room with a worse view. As a result, they asked me to cancel and rebook the room with a worse view and the price became more than 700 yuan. I was speechless! I already had a lot of luggage for the elderly and it was not easy to run around, so I had to make do with it. But it was really inconvenient to go out. There was nothing nearby except walking to the beach. I don't recommend it at all. It's also far from the attractions! It's 20-30 yuan to take a taxi!

This is my first time staying at this hotel. The environment is okay and relatively clean. The front desk on the night of the 4th was very good and the service was enthusiastic. When I checked out around 11 a.m. on April 6th, the front desk service was not good. I had been indifferent and perfunctory when renewing my room the night before. It was still the same on the morning of the 6th. I also had a cold and perfunctory attitude when checking out. I didn’t want to say more. Not a single smiling face. It's really funny that they look unhappy with us. We are customers, not here to be upset. I hope the hotel can improve its services.
