I recently stayed at Gu Lai Xi Hotel @ 鎭远古镇and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, clearly reflecting the hotel’s recent renovation (just a year ago). Everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort.
What truly made my stay special, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the owners. They were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Whether it was providing local tips or assisting with any requests, their warmth made me feel right at home.
The location is perfect - quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently close to Zhen Yuan’s key attractions. I loved how easy it was to explore the nearby landmarks without being in a noisy tourist area.
Overall, Gu Lai Xi offers great value - excellent facilities, superb service, and an ideal location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting 鎭远古镇

First of all, I must say that Guilaixi Qi B&B is a very satisfactory one that I have ever stayed in, and there is almost nothing to complain about. The design of the whole B&B is simple and stylish, and most importantly, it is very user-friendly. I like it very much. When I walked into the room, I felt that I wanted to stay for another day. The B&B is located at the 45th bar by the water at Zhusheng Bridge, the core attraction of the scenic area. The balcony of the room has a panoramic view of Zhusheng Bridge, the entrance of Qinglong Cave, and the entrance of Shiping Mountain are also dozens of meters away. The lobby lounge area (breakfast area) on the first floor of the B&B is reasonably divided, and the large rooftop terrace is also unique among the nearby B&Bs, which is very colorful. The room is spacious, tidy and clean, with bright colors, and the supplies are also very exquisite. The layout is reasonable and convenient... The breakfast set is simple but of good quality. I especially like the bowl of rice noodles, which tastes great... The boss and the boss's wife are very sincere, welcoming and proactive, doing things with heart, and communicating things easily and effectively...
